Look at yourself. You are on the verge of tears! You are crying over people buying windows 7! Get a life if you get so upset about this crap! Let people "waste their money". Windows 7 ended up being the BEST OS EVER! HA!
anyone that i know And if you just buy a new computer with 8/16 gb of ram quad core +1 terabyte of hard drive + windows 7. Of course you would be cheap to buy anything i just mentioned.
i think its going to go faster then your old pc (xp). I have friends that have windows 7 and it never
crashed/bugged or glitched on them. You should get your facts right because "everyone" except for you, knows that window is the universal os which when a camera is made is made for windows compatability.
my friend has windows 7 home premium and his bro has professional and they love aero and i got a vesion og the internet and installed it from there and i activated it so know i have windows 7 its much better than dumb macbooks they cost like £1139.99. :P:P:P:P:P:P:P:P:P sucker
god ur a fag, windows seven has MAJOR speed inprovements, and honestly, yo dont need new drivers unless its running on like a 2002 computer, and I installed it on a 2002 computer, it didnt require drivers anyway. And works with all my printers, and one printer vista didnt want to work with,
Of course there's speed improvements! Windows 7 is less of a hard-ware hog than Windows Vista. In fact, heard that Windows 7 is faster than Windows XP! :P Did you look at reviews before watching this?
NOOOOOOOOOB!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Windows 7 is 90% compatible with Windows XP software and drivers. If that's not enough then you can get the proffessional edition where you can download the Windows XP mode. The RC version of Windows 7 is a lot like the full version of Windows 7.
What list. I upgraded from Windows XP to Windows Vista and the printer driver didn't work. I upgraded from Windows Vista to Windows 7 (RC) and the printer driver worked again! :)
it is fast seen people having windows 7 on 4 years old laptops it works super so your videos dont make sence just because they recommend 1024 mb it doesent mean its so slow

all my friends almost have windows 7 and they love it windows is trying hard to make windows xp programs run on 7 Btw like the dude told you you can run xp mode
but i guess you havent even tryed windows 7
and dont talk bullshit almost everyone i know love windows 7!
im not saying anyone is right or wrong but if i had to format and re-install every six months then i wouldnt own a computer. And all OS have bugs. Yes, i am speaking from experience too :P Good to hear your honest views though :)
it is alot faster. its not a waste of money...there is no bugs on it, and fyi i did not need many driver downloads, windows automatically showed me to the website from where to download the drivers. and its the best os eva.
Windows 7 is by far the best release yet by microsoft. I agree that some of your points are valid however your greatest downfall point was that "i cant upgrade from xp to w7" you shouldnt want to you should be formatting and installing freshly every 6months atleast anyway.
I'm sorry but I have to disagree with everything you've said in this video, its quite clear you haven't been following the development process of 7 if this is all you've got to complain about... Win7 is great. It has none of the issues that Vista first had.
its like the company is using you as a genie pig.. windows eight was released for two days to see what developers thought. trail run. thats the way it should be. peace. gregg
The whole point of a EXTENDED beta program was to insure that there were minimal bugs on release, as opposed to vista. Sure, $150 is alot of money, but money well spent when you take into consideration the MANY improvements Windows 7 brings. You mention no speed improvements, well it's actually faster booting then XP and alot faster then vista. Not to mention many time savers like peek and snap etc. As for your old hardware. You're living in the dark ages.
Every version Microsoft has released they have always changed things after beta.. and they did with 7, Labs have tested the speed and they claim it was negligible. You know what hardware i have.?
You idiots should have brought Vista, then you could have upgraded you fool. and no vista isnt shit, try updating it with service packs, JUST like xp has 3 service packs of its own.
All benchmarks show XP is significantly faster than XP at almost every task. From booting, transfer files, un-rar, encoding, the list goes on and on and on with vista sometimes taking twice as long as xp on all benchmarks.
And actually on my setup (did you take that into account different setups? eg if you have a good gpu then vista will be able to take far better advantage of it then xp... also i was using 64bit vista) it used to boot in about the same time, transfer times for me were only slightly slower and un-raring, encoding etc depends on the specific programs you use. vista tended to run just as fast as xp on fast pcs but ofcourse 7 is faster
yes thats stupid too, hate it when people act as if they have used something all their live and say stuff about it trying to make everyone believe them. I have used (and still am using ) windows 7 on 3 computers so i can tell you experience that its better and why from experience :P
computer hardware updates so much though that it outgrows the operating system in like 5 years, microsoft is actually SLOW at realeasing operating systems! seriously. ubuntu releases a new version every 6 months roughly
That or deal with an every hour shutdown. I'm happy with the beta version for now, only thing I don't like is the new movie maker, it's to simple and I don't like it.
yes it does i'm using it right now and have not found ONE program that does not run on windows 7. Have you actually tried it or are you just basing your opinion on the opinions of other ill-informed people?
wait until SP1 is released. at this stage vista is more stable and XP is even more stable than that. Personally, I'm waiting till SP2 is released (which it will be, they always find some bugs after SP1!), because my vista laptop is virtually new and runs perfectly.
I'm a linux user. It's been good to me. I hate the tight release schedule though because it means that after a short time application bug fixes and improvements are only for new releases. I prefer a little more longterm usage than that and for Windows, it's a strength that once the crappiness is gone it's good for years and the whole system just undergoes improvements. I'm stuck with Firefox 3.0 and I've had this Ubuntu LTS OS for about a year. That would repel lots of Windows users.
I see no reason to buy Windows within 6 months of release since it's always got problems initially. But since MS bitchslapped themselves and the rest of the windows world with Vista, it only makes sense that they'd work hard on something better. You make a very good point, that beta-testers test 1 thing and something else can get released. Very true...there may have been 'features' left out of the beta. I really hope that ubuntu can generate enough longterm support to cover major applications.
True, true. I remember the stink and fury after the launch of XP. There were months of headaches and sad faces while MS got its head around the idea that security still has to let you do things.
I was a beta tester and pretty much everything you said on that video was wrong, I installed it on all 3 of my computers (2 desktops (very different from each other) and my laptop) and i didn't need to install ANY drivers! not even for my printer which has needed drivers to be installed in both xp and vista.
It is very stable, it is compatible with all programs that work on vista (virtually all programs now days) and it is indeed must faster along with many other little improvements
pauly you are right, its not suited to those sheep who believe that Bill Gates is God and fall for the big windows con job.
