@theraceclub I think if I do a powerful high elbow catch with my hand and S-shape pull, the rotation comes naturally; so I don't need the hand paddle. The drills given by user effortlessswimming are very useful for me to get good body rotation as well the catch and kicking. But, thanks anyway for your explanation and sorry if I behave as if I knew all things about freestyle; I am still learning freestyle, that's why I still explore videos here from good source of learning.

@lexsoft mostly to emphasize the feel for the water on the hand and the rotation which is the biggest component for hip driven freestyle.
