@generalcheif123... where is ur console made of... if u live in germany then it must be europe.. for this method to work u must have a server that complies with the region of console and the region of gamertag which in ur case is Europe... my cosole region is Europe and Gt is also of UK so i just chose Uk... however u can still try Us servers and see if they work... if u r getting this error... try the server with 10 preference

Alright so here is the problem with the new map pack... This thing works 100% Its not a spam, but in the new map pack rezurrection its actually really big 1.2 gb so when you start back from 97 it will take a reallly reeeeeeally long time just by 99 you will be there and your freedom will cut BECAUSE it will exceed the 1 hour cuz its too huge. So you will not be able to get the new map pack cuz of this time limit thing unless you buy this package thing which is really cheap i bought it with Cashu

I hope this helps, it worked for me, since I had the problem where I got to like 99.9 % (With VPN activated) and it always disconnected me and could not continue.
So I figure that I needed the complete 100% of the File Map Pack and only use VPN to confirm that my download was from an USA IP
@rufolate i have the same problem at 99% it disconnects me and i have to do it again, and for me it starts off with 1% then after a few seconds it goes to 98% then it takes some time until it gets to 99% or so, but i dont think that i can download it normally then switch to vpn real quick.
@AndroLX Read down in the comments where I explained what to do. I had the exact same problem, that it disconected me at 99%. so what I did is to download the complete file (100%) from a link I posted in the comments. This way you wont need to download from 98 to 100, cause u will have the 100% file already in your hard drive
Once the map pack is in your Xbox hard Drive, you must be connected to VPN doing the tutorial in this video, and go to MarketPlace and download it again, as it says in the video it wont cost you anything, and wait for 5 secons or so, and it will pop up a message saying

Basically even though the complete 100% of the file is in your xbox hard drive, your Xbox account has to still know that you download it form an USA IP, and thats where the VPN tut form this video comes in

It will appear to start at 1%, but in 5 seconds it will check your HDD and see that you have the 100% file and it will say:
"Map Pack Downloaded"

@rufolate i did exactly what you are saying but thats all wrong the file from the usb is assigned to some one else gamertag no mater how many times i download from market place it will say download complete but i cant play it. for example if you goto your freinds xbox download the map pack with your gamertag but then sign in from his gamer tag he will have the file 100% downloaded but he wont be able to use that content even though he has bought it. he will have to downlaod all again to play
@ibrahimabro I understand what you are saying about gamer tags, and you are doing something wrong cause I have perssonaly done the method, and 7 of my friends have also done it, and downloading the same file and it work for all of us. You are just doing something different.
A way you can confirm that your file is 100% complete is by checking in your Xbox Hard drive and if the file does not have an exclamation mark beside it ( ! ), than you are sure to have it
@rufolate sorry to tell you that your method is wrong the file that is complete 100% is assigned to some1 elses gamertag so if i dont have that gamertag signed into xboxlive u cant use it.the trick to the failure of the 99 % is that download the file from 0-98 then dont let the xbox tell you that the download has failed. resume from 98 to 100 with the vpn i have found better vpn then freedom with more bandwith one is vpn authority i completed my download successfully by redownloading everything

@adhamelwakeel then it may be because your gamertag region contradicts with your xbox 360 region or with the game region. you must have the English Black ops, the gamertag of either England or America. after that select the region from YOURFREEDOM
@adhamelwakeel also don't delete the map pack from xbox 360 memory and download it again after following my tut (connecting xbox with pc). it will start from 97% and go on to download
@rufolate You must definitely have to get to the point that you link your Xbox to PC (your Xbox on Xbox Live) as it says in this tut, if you get to this point you are good to go. I dont know if has101ggc would let me post here the other steps not found on this tut, if he does, Ill go ahead and place them here, cause a big part of it is using this tut
@TheUnsuper well when you install openvnp you get it in your network connections and you share it with the one we called "xbox to pc", well that xbox to pc has to be the ip 192.168.0.1 and it should connect because it does for me
@TheUnsuper you must be doing something wrong then because if you did those steps he showed in the video then it should work, install openvpn that will make a new network in (Control Panel\Network and Internet\Network Connections) you share it with the local network connection
, change in properties to manually and same on xbox.It should go online because mine did you cal download the whole map directly from modem untill 97% then connect for the last 3% to vpn and it should say that it has sucessfully downloaded

@stefmunky yes actually the software is free so the bandwidth and download speed is really slow. plus the download verifies the IP address @ 99% so yeah it does take a lot of time. mine took almost 45 mins at 99% to be completed.
Hey man, might remember me from a few weeks back. I found a WAY easier method of doing this incase anyone else is having problems: -
- Goto veryfastvpn(DOT)com and get the client and free trial (also has free mode which is the same but limited to 30 mins a time), it gives you much more bandwidth than your freedom
- Connect to server located in the country you want
@sherdilkamran When you get to 99% it performs an I.P check to make sure you're in the right region for the content, this is when you switch to your VPN connection to download the rest.
@sherdilkamran you can fix that by letting the download reach 95%, then remove the cable from the modem to the PC, make sure VPN is on, go to your xbox then click Connect to Xbox LIVE, then the download will continue slowly, but it'll download, i downloaded map pack 1 & 2!!

Help me please in the last problem, i was on 98% GoW Map Pack and when i reach 99%, loosing connection with xbox live and message from Freedom about i reached 60 minutes connection. @rjhercilla you can always trick it. first go to xbox.com and purchase it from there. when you'll start xbox it will be in your que waiting to be download. now it will reach 99% and give error "Can't download map pack". now dont delete it from the memory and follow my tut and connect to xbox live as per my tut. now download it again from your xbox 360 market place content. it will start from 97% and go on to 100% without giving any error.
@has101ggc I've already got the 98% of the download in my HD. I did it a month before directly from xbox.com. The actual issue is some kind of loop, on freedom i reach 99% or maybe almost 100% and it disconnects. By the way I selected US server but it appears when its almost done they are rejected or something like that. Any suggestions please?
@rjhercilla the problem here is that your-freedom servers are at low bandwidth (since its free) so you can only use the limited bandwidth and limited time. so follow what i said and you'll be golden. if you can't buy it from xbox.com. let me know. i know how to do it too.
@rjhercilla may be cause your gamertag region and the server you select not correspond. so try the region of your xbox gamertag. i dont know why its not working but i downloaded both map packs using this very tut

@rjhercilla check if your xbox connects to the Network. Check it by testing xbox live connection. it may be because you are either not online on VPN or because the ip details are incorrect.
Had to use the tutorial to get it to work via the Website as it knew my location was outside the US. It downloaded to 99% and then stopped, so i connected the VPN and connected to XBL but it still wouldn't finish. Maybe i did something wrong though because it only *sometimes* connects to XBL, i even tried a UK server which is where im at and even that wouldn't work. this is what i have set up i55.tinypic(DOT)com/2gu0553.jpg ; does it look right?
Hey, thanks for the annotations they really helped explain what you meant. When i try to share the VPN with the Xbox to PC connection i get an error message "An error occurred while Internet Connection Sharing was being enabled" so it won't let me do it, do you know why this is? Followed everything else perfectly.
@iTerror1ze uninstall the your-freedom and then reinstall it. and also Share the name of the adapter with VPN. in my video i gave the adapter "Xbox to PC" name for understanding purpose.
@has101ggc Got it to work shortly after posting that comment. Connected to Xbox live fine but can't download or really do anything because the max down speed of the US server im connected to was only 65kb/s (averaging around 30kb/s) which are dial up speeds, lol. @iTerror1ze there is a better way to do it. first buy it from xbox.com and let it download to your xbox 360. it will give an error after reaching 99% that Can't download map. don't worry though. Just don't delete it from xbox memory. after that follow my tutorial and start the download again. it will start from 97% and go on to 100% without giving any error. thats how i downloaded it. and also while selecting server, select the one with 10.0 preference

@iTerror1ze you have to give it some time for downloading. most important is you have to select the server of your gamertag eg (Uk gamertag, UK server). mine took around 40 mins to get from 97 to 100% because of slow bandwidth. so be patient
I was able to do it with blackvpn its 5€ for 1 month an you can get 2 month free if you use this referral WCXMNZJ ,ts much more faster than the free ones which takes ages to load and never finishes

@osvelpe listen, the map pack is for the english version of black ops. if you don't have the eng version then download won't complete. secondly. you are doing the right thing. when you reach 99% does it give this message "can't download escalation map pack"? if yes then you are still suffering from region problem. this could be becasue your gamertag is neither of US nor UK. so in short, you must have the eng version of black ops plus a gamertag of US or UK to work this out

OK so basically what you will have to do is Buy the pack form Xbox.com, download the file to your USB,
transfer the file to your xbox, connect ur xbox via VPN and confirm your download, this
confirmation with VPN will only take about 5 seconds since u will not need to download from
98% to 100% cause you already have the complete file transfered from ur USB to ur xbox hard drive

(your destkop) where you have the annihilation map pack,drag the annihilation
map pack folder (41560855) into the 0000000000000000 folder
this can make the program lagg a little bit cause its a big file but
if you wait 30 secs - 1min you will see that it says it's done
once it's done your done and need to plug your usb into your xbox.
on your xbox go to system settings>memory>USB>Games>Black ops and move
the annihilation map pack file to your harddrive.

@ibrahimabro If you have the 100% of the file in your xbox Hard Drive, than you just have to do the final step, which is to go to Market Place and download it again, as it says in the video it wont cost you anything, and wait for 5 secons or so, and it will pop up a message saying. It will appear to start at 1%, but in 5 seconds it will check your HDD and see that you have the 100% file and it will say:
"Map Pack Downloaded"
You must be conected to the VPN in order to do this

@rufolate i did exactly what you are saying but thats all wrong the file from the usb is assigned to some one else gamertag no mater how many times i download from market place it will say download complete but i cant play it. for example if you goto your freinds xbox download the map pack with your gamertag but then sign in from his gamer tag he will have the file 100% downloaded but he wont be able to use that content even though he has bought it. he will have to downlaod all again to play

A way you can confirm that your file is 100% complete is by checking in your Xbox Hard drive and if the file does not have an exclamation mark beside it ( ! ), than you are sure to have it

@rufolate sorry to tell you that your method is wrong the file that is complete 100% is assigned to some1 elses gamertag so if i dont have that gamertag signed into xboxlive u cant use it.the trick to the failure of the 99 % is that download the file from 0-98 then dont let the xbox tell you that the download has failed. resume from 98 to 100 with the vpn i have found better vpn then freedom with more bandwith one is vpn authority i completed my download successfully by redownloading everything

@adhamelwakeel then it may be because your gamertag region contradicts with your xbox 360 region or with the game region. you must have the English Black ops, the gamertag of either England or America. after that select the region from YOURFREEDOM

@rufolate You must definitely have to get to the point that you link your Xbox to PC (your Xbox on Xbox Live) as it says in this tut, if you get to this point you are good to go. @TheUnsuper you must be doing something wrong then because if you did those steps he showed in the video then it should work, install openvpn that will make a new network in (Control Panel\Network and Internet\Network Connections) you share it with the local network connection

@stefmunky yes actually the software is free so the bandwidth and download speed is really slow. plus the download verifies the IP address @ 99% so yeah it does take a lot of time. mine took almost 45 mins at 99% to be completed.

Hey man, might remember me from a few weeks back. I found a WAY easier method of doing this incase anyone else is having problems: -
- Goto veryfastvpn(DOT)com and get the client and free trial (also has free mode which is the same but limited to 30 mins a time), it gives you much more bandwidth than your freedom
- Connect to server located in the country you want
- Share the connection with your wired xbox-pc
- Sign in to xbl and download maps
- Done!

@cristobalzetra Quick run down:
- Disconnect from the VPN
- Download your game normally and wait until it hits 99%
- Disconnect your xbox and plug your cable into your spare adapter (Xbox wired to PC)
- Start up your VPN and share the connection with your xbox
- Sign in and allow it to finish the last 1%, at 99% you actually have the full game, but until it's done a final IP check it wont let you play it.
You don't download the whole thing through the VPN, that would take waaay too long, lol.

@sherdilkamran When you get to 99% it performs an I.P check to make sure you're in the right region for the content, this is when you switch to your VPN connection to download the rest.

@sherdilkamran you can fix that by letting the download reach 95%, then remove the cable from the modem to the PC, make sure VPN is on, go to your xbox then click Connect to Xbox LIVE, then the download will continue slowly, but it'll download, i downloaded map pack 1 & 2!!

Help me please in the last problem, i was on 98% GoW Map Pack and when i reach 99%, loosing connection with xbox live and message from Freedom about i reached 60 minutes connection. @rjhercilla you can always trick it. first go to xbox.com and purchase it from there. when you'll start xbox it will be in your que waiting to be download. now it will reach 99% and give error "Can't download map pack". now dont delete it from the memory and follow my tut and connect to xbox live as per my tut. now download it again from your xbox 360 market place content. it will start from 97% and go on to 100% without giving any error.

@has101ggc I've already got the 98% of the download in my HD. I did it a month before directly from xbox.com. The actual issue is some kind of loop, on freedom i reach 99% or maybe almost 100% and it disconnects. By the way I selected US server but it appears when its almost done they are rejected or something like that. Any suggestions please?

@rjhercilla the problem here is that your-freedom servers are at low bandwidth (since its free) so you can only use the limited bandwidth and limited time. so follow what i said and you'll be golden. if you can't buy it from xbox.com. let me know. i know how to do it too.

I follow all and Ok. What i saw is my internet down (exactly as your image in 7:52 minute of your video).
My xbox connects to the PC but no way connects to internet. What else I must check it?
Could be something about IP addresses? my router its a D-link 724P+ and their network configurations only can be configured with range 192.168.0.XX but still no connection to xboxlive

@rjhercilla check if your xbox connects to the Network. Check it by testing xbox live connection. it may be because you are either not online on VPN or because the ip details are incorrect.

Had to use the tutorial to get it to work via the Website as it knew my location was outside the US. It downloaded to 99% and then stopped, so i connected the VPN and connected to XBL but it still wouldn't finish. Maybe i did something wrong though because it only *sometimes* connects to XBL, i even tried a UK server which is where im at and even that wouldn't work. this is what i have set up i55.tinypic(DOT)com/2gu0553.jpg ; does it look right?

Hey, thanks for the annotations they really helped explain what you meant. When i try to share the VPN with the Xbox to PC connection i get an error message "An error occurred while Internet Connection Sharing was being enabled" so it won't let me do it, do you know why this is? Followed everything else perfectly.

@has101ggc Got it to work shortly after posting that comment. Connected to Xbox live fine but can't download or really do anything because the max down speed of the US server im connected to was only 65kb/s (averaging around 30kb/s) which are dial up speeds, lol. Thanks for the help tho! I'll have to look for a better server i think.

@iTerror1ze there is a better way to do it. first buy it from xbox.com and let it download to your xbox 360. it will give an error after reaching 99% that Can't download map. don't worry though. Just don't delete it from xbox memory. after that follow my tutorial and start the download again. it will start from 97% and go on to 100% without giving any error. thats how i downloaded it. and also while selecting server, select the one with 10.0 preference

@iTerror1ze you have to give it some time for downloading. most important is you have to select the server of your gamertag eg (Uk gamertag, UK server). mine took around 40 mins to get from 97 to 100% because of slow bandwidth. so be patient

@osvelpe yes i know, it takes a lot of time from 98% to 100% because the VPN's bandwidth is free and its like 256 kb/s so be patient. i got from 97% to 100% in like 45 minutes but the wait is worth it. :)

@osvelpe listen, the map pack is for the english version of black ops. if you don't have the eng version then download won't complete. secondly. you are doing the right thing. when you reach 99% does it give this message "can't download escalation map pack"? if yes then you are still suffering from region problem. this could be becasue your gamertag is neither of US nor UK. so in short, you must have the eng version of black ops plus a gamertag of US or UK to work this out
