Nevermind i had to download a stock RUU file rename it to PG86IMG.zip n update in bootloader then do the steps again and it worked perfectly.

@RichboyJhae I'm stuck at the exact same thing. Type in the command twice and your phone is unresponsive to all the buttons until you unplug it from the computer. 2.17.651.5

@cowkong I found a fix for it. Just find an RUU for 2.17.651.5 then connect your phone to your computer and run it. After that redo all the processes in this video and it should work fine.

I don't know what your problem could be. I would make you installed the drivers for the phone. You also need to make sure you actually got the correct token. You would to have selected a phone. Make sure you selected the 3D instead of the 4G to get the correct token bin file. Does your phone say "Unlocked" in Purple or still saying locked?

Open command prompt and go to the folder you copied Unlock_code.bin to and type "fastboot flash unlocktoken Unlock_code.bin" without the quotes. After that you will get the prompt and use the volume up button to select yes and power to apply.

@iornhyde Interesting..."Okay" should display something other then 0.000 seconds. Try taking the battery out of the phone. Boot backinto bootloader and put it in fastboot making sure the cord is in. and hit power on fastboot it should now say "USB Fastboot" try it again and see what happens.

This doesn't work for hb1.5, and your video for mac sucks. You need to make q better video for mac, how you are using windows and said it works on mac when it doesn't

Nothing happens after the unlock_code.bin. Im on the latest OTA 2.17.651.5. Maybe this could be the problem and this OTA doesnt currently work. I know an HBOOT cannot be downgraded, but how about the OTA? Possibly flash the 2.08 RUU? Let me know if anyone has answers or help.

Dude I tried this but before the last reboot it says connection to phoned interrupted and doesn't finish the root process but it does get s-off, so i tried installing a zip from recovery and it said it couldn't find the file when it clearly showed all the files

I'm currently using a mac to root my eve 3d. I made it to step 21 or 22. Every time I try to install the "su-2.3.6.3-efgh-signed.zip" in the clockwork, it keeps saying it can't open it (bad) and installation aborted. Ive tried unzipping the file but it just ends up turning it into a folder that removes the ".zip" and when I try to install that new file that suppose to be unzipped in the clockwork, it brings me to two options; meta-inf/ and system. In other words, it won't directly install.
