Actually, most of the walls with hidden things, at least in castles and fortresses, are rather hinted at IMO. Whenever you see walls of a different color that don't look like borders of a normal wall, they're hiding something. The biggest Guide Dang It in this game, IMO, is the hidden exit in 7-Fortress, because there's nothing suspicious about that particular wall. The hidden exit in NSMBDS's 1-Tower is an even bigger Guide Dang It, though. >.>

I just played the game normally. No really, I eventually maximize the stock through normal play. I guess I just play good enough to keep going up.

This was also on New Super Mario Bros DS. Depending on what the ending digit was stopped on, it would determine which Mushroom House would appear on the space.

0-3 - Green

4-6 - Red

7-9 - Yellow

i think that thats Iggy. Aside from that, do items you're already using that you pick up go to the Item Cache? (EXAMPLE: You have penguin Suit. You Pick up Another One, but it disappears and nothing happens except Point Gaining. What Happened to the other suit? did it move to the Cache?)

Nope. The items you can stock can only be obtained by the enemies roaming around the map (Super Mushrooms) or in the Red Mushroom Houses. Any power-ups you pick up in the stages cannot be stocked. Priority:

Normal → Mini ↔ Super → Fire/Ice/Propeller/Penguin

Mini Mushroom can override anything.

3-4 was a shocker for most people, I thought "Did I REALLY just find a secret exit?" (That's what she said -.-) and the level was a pain as well because of my limits to the suit.

Hey, in the red mushroom house game, have u ever gotten all the power up panels? i was only able 2 do it once.

Without, but getting everything, that could be about 5 or more hours at least. (not counting how many times you'll be killed).
