I just bought this game and I'm stuck on this part, I was wondering if it would be ok if I were to use "war and Peace" the whole time. I just think its best if one be the heal, healing you when ever Odin beats you up, then you can capture him. What do you think?? I really need help

@spirtkitsune16 When I play it, it helps to swich paradigms. Like in the video. Only go to medic when someone needs to be healed.

odin is easy as fuck just literally do as i say:

Use one of your potions called Forestal or whatever then just use double dose untill he casts ulirrs shield and at that time only shall you attack using dualcasting.

To beat odin I used lightning as a commander and hope as a synergist until all the buffs were up healing with potions if I needed to. After that it was mostly commander/ ravager combo to get his chain bar high. I didn't know that healing would make him yeild as well so maybe going to medic/medic paradigm woulf be hood when you need a healling also. I also got most of my crystium upgrades before hand fighting the people before him. Took about 3 attemps for me.

@ellomellohabbouk then you need to wait until he'll either attack hope or when he does his shield move to start healing.once both health bars are full, switch to ravager to make the purple bar over his head to go up by using magic, if hope is about to die have him be a ravager while you be a medic if odin is attacking him. When you heal hope the bar fills up as well as odin yields to those who heal the wounded.

@AsszynJ In order to beat Odin, you have to prove to him that you are strong. Odin will yield if you hit him with enough commando and or ravager commands. so shift between paradigms (tactics or jobs) then when the Gestalt line above his head is full hit X or A and he will transform into transport mode. And Bob's your uncle, your riding Odin like a trick pony... pardon the expression

I kinda get the impression that Light was in more turmoil about bringing Hope - cuz then he'd be wrapped up in a war between her & the sanctum - or leaving him there, where he'd be alone and pretty much defenseless in hostile territory (though not as bad as option 1) - rather than freaking out between her nicer vs soldier side because he was a "liability." Just doesn't seem like it would cause enough turmoil to summon Odin if her statue sister didn't, and she did try to warn him earlier too :/

Tips for Odin - When Odin's shield is up switch to the Paradigm Dual Casting, he takes most of his damage when you do that and switch back and forth with War & Peace with it

@knifewieldingwomen ok when he uses doom if the counter reaches 0 then you die instantly. the gesault is basicly its health gauge, useing libra can help you figure out how to fill it up. my suggestion is war & peace and ravanger. i did these 2 and i defeated him very quickly. hope healing your team gets the gesault meter up, and attacking gets it up to. when the meters full press square and the eidolin is yours.

I just beat him. Here's the trick: along the way, you should've come across some spark rings or something like that. Equip the spark ring to Lightning. Since Hope has low hp, try to level him up to raise his hp.

When you're fighting him, switch between Double Dose (to heal lightning and hope) and Dual Casting (to attack). Odin will be a bit weak against thunder. Keep using it till the bar thingy is full.

Grind and level up, you're kind of underleveled. See if you can find a spark ring, that helps. I did practically the whole battle using only slash and burn and war and peace. You just want to keep shifting paradigms quickly between healing and attacking, those are the two things Odin yeilds to. :)
