The mandolin plays wonderfully. It was actually the strings. The ones I have on in the video are Phosphor bronze wound and I hate the way they sound, I usually use Nickel or silver wound strings. I have nice new silver wound strings on now :) But I know what you mean, a nice old Italian bowlback would be nice :P Thanks for the nice comment :)
