  • Just get orthotics... If your joints and crap are hurting..

  • Do you wear socks with them? Do your feet smell? My roomie wears them w/o socks and his feet really get stinky. Does that happen to you?

  • @toeshoesblog i heard to avoid fakes to not buy colors that arent listed on the vibram site and these gray palm clay colorway isnt listed, that doesnt necessarily mean theyre fake, do they?

  • wearing in vibrams and your feet is a pain! nothing worse! but once your feet build up a little and you wear those damn things in, Ooo WEee! I work at a cafe where I am on my feet all day, and they are the only shoes that don't leave me with sore feet at the end of the day!

  • @jokergd These are all accurate and proven by observation, testing and neuroscience. Good work

  • 0:47 woman gestures with stupid incredibly dumb and uncomfortable heels at the shoe she wish she had. MAN'S WORLD!

  • @CooperCarr87 The man with her, in dress shoes, looks enviously at Justin's KSO's. At about 0:40 and 1:11 Justin vigorously wiggles his toes, like the others probably only wish they could.

  • Vibram KSO's are heavy on the dork factor, but damn are they amazingly comfortable! I workout in mine.

  • Ok, so I'm thinking of getting these shoes, and I narrowed it down to three options. Komodo, Bikila, and the KSO. I don't know which one I should get. I want a shoe that has good grip on the ground, doesn't wear out easily, and is good for running.

  • I wear my Vibram Kimodo's 7 days a week through workouts, everyday life etc. One huge gripe-they STINK even after washing them with denture cleaner,soap,..you name it. Otherwise I love them and would not go back to conventional sneakers.

  • this is the first time ive heard of these. and now i know why........ wow im glad these never caught on.........

  • @lemans24fan considering they do more for you then regular shoes; i think they will.

  • I too have a pair of KSO's the same color as Justin's, and have worn them to work (buyer) for most of the past 2 months, since it became too cool for flip-flops. I love them; but they can get too hot after a while and I kick them off under my desk (I did the same with the flops). People noticed at first, but I'm always positive about it, and they accept that I like them. Those who don't I just ignore. I would have preferred blcak, but they' weren't available in my size the day I got mine.

  • Part 2: I heard about the moc style; Vibram has apparently dropped those. Are the Treks the replacement? I have a pair of Injinji toe socks, I'll stick to black to avoid sweat stains on white or gray. Yes, KSO's can stink, and need to be washed and aired out often. Is that less of a problem with treks since they have a sock lining?

  • The VFF Speed w/ Injinji toe socks are amazing both in comfort and looks.

  • That's disgusting. Bet it makes your feet smell rancid.

  • shute I would love to wear my Vibrams to work I wear dress shoes for hours and hours always standing up and my feet are killing me and it's causing bad places on my heals, one about Vibrams they are comfy they don't put stress on your feet and you can wear them all day...

  • THIS is the future folks. When science will take human body's natural ability and simply improve upon it w/ ergonomics and other faculties of science that corresponds to the body. We see how sci-fi movie ppl dress up. To us its high-tech and exotic (sometimes erotic). That will happen gradually. Good thing.

  • I love my Vibram Treksports and wear them everywhere I go and love how they are washing machine safe.

  • Do they make socks for those?

  • @claudesaint17 Yes, Injinji Toe Socks.

But that would kinda ruin the feeling, and even the purpose of using Vibrams imo.

  • Google, "Jikatabi"

  • this is not shoe, this is just a funky sock

  • @anikkazi22 This is not comment, this is just a funky sentance.

  • I personally think those five fingers shoes are awesome and your feets look so damn hot in them.they rock!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • they look so gay

  • I dont see why not wear them ? they help your feet which is all that matters .... Sure if you have a buisness meeting or some super upity up job i understand.

  • I'm staggered that a fairy young guy cares whether or not his shoes are appropriate for his work environment. There may be hope for basic manners yet.

  • When you wear you wear your Vibrams people say stuff. It's annoying.

  • They look nice with jeans

  • Not a bad idea, Id like to try a pair.

  • Walteroy or whatever it's name is has an ego problem some one gave it some cash and now it thinks it's someone rich and famous! Get over your self loser your nothing but a regular everyday person who happens to need to compensate for all that your lacking via acting like a douche

  • You should actually consider the Speed model

they traded the strap for laces and gave the shoe a classic running shoe look

    (while of course remaining VFFs)

  • @jeremiel91 if i bought the speed model and got about 2 sizes above my original size would that be an uncomfortable fit?

  • Too casual to be worn at work. Have some class.

  • @waltleroy01 since when do your shoes define your amount of class at work? If you'd rather wear the wrong shoes and destroy your feet as you progress in life, enjoy your class :)

  • @jokergd Try wearing these things in a meeting. Some things are just inappropriate for work. Would you wear boardshorts and a stained t-shirt to a wedding?

FYI I wear merrell tough gloves to work. I happen to take some pride in my appearance. If you want to look like a slacker psuedo-hippie like the douche in this video with ripped jeans and shitty footwear, be my guest. I wouldn't hire anyone dressed like this guy.

  • @waltleroy01 it simply depends of your field of work I guess.

I'm a 3D animator, and I can wear pretty much anything i want.

In fact, If I showed up at an interview with anything near a tux, I'd look kind of stupid

  • @jeremiel91 Well as a 3d animator you can sit at home in your dirty sweatpants and jerk off all day. No one gives a shit what you do. You'll never advance past code monkey wearing these pieces of shit to a real job.

  • @waltleroy01 LOL YOUR EVERYWHERE, I LIKE HOW U REALLY DONT HAVE A LIFE LOL

  • @jokergd my point is that it depends on your line of work. shoes should be secondary to performance, and if someone wore vibram five fingers to work, i'd give them more credit for being forward thinking and advanced

also, you look at shoes during meetings? unusual conference room setup you've got?

  • where did you get that style of those shoes... i like the colors

  • someone should give a pair to that guy on dual survival that walks around barefoot all the time, which makes me understand how good these would be for your feet, that being said, they just don't look like they provide much protection from the elements kind of like a slipper or moccasin, they would be great for tooling around home, but work? not too sure.

  • @odom602 depends what kind of work you do... if you work as a welder or forming glass, you may not want to wear these

if you work in an office all day, they are great

and yeah, they are the best, and once you start wearing them, wearing heeled shoes (even a 1cm heel) is painful

  • foot gloves =)

  • UNA TACHUELA Y DIME SI SON COMODOS

  • Which is better these or the shoes by Fila?

  • you should look at vivobarefoot shoes. They are part of the barefoot running movement but look like normal shoes. They are a bit pricey though. I have a pair of Vivobarefoot Oaks in black and people ask me all the time where i got them...they're stylish =)

  • Awesome! I am stealing your idea for long day shoots. Thanks.

  • @unity2012 me too

  • Love it :-) fit feet.ie :-)

  • I just got a pair of black and orange KSO about a week ago and they are great.

    Great videos, keep posting.

  • are these good for cross country? Do you need to wear sock too? Thanks

  • @Kevinmaxtor No you dont need to wear socks, But if its chilly out you can wear socks, The best pair to get for these shoes would be the sock brand called "Injinji" You can find these on sites like Ebay.com or Amazon.com. (= Wearing them without socks is fun, and wearing them with socks isnt uncomfortable either, I prefer them with socks though, but thats because im used to putting my socks on anyways :) Hope this helped!

  • I have the all black KSO's and love them all the pain from my knees and back have vanished since I started wearing these for runs I'm getting ready to start wearing them to work myself

  • @abusamir You won't regret it! I had two weddings this weekend and had to wear dress shoes the whole time. My legs/back are killing me. Back to the KSO's tomorrow !

  • Trek's might not be good for all day wearing, they're heavier and have more padding, and less breathable-- they're literally more for trail running and such

not so much walking on carpets in exhibit halls

Black KSO's are great for being lowkey, but still get noticed like crazy

  • @jokergd thanks for the tip! I was going to get them today, but I am now heavily reconsidering.

  • @jokergd Tell me about it! I wear them when I go to school and I thought people wouldn't really notice them! I guess a lot of people look at my feet... LOL

  • @Swilliam127 well, you'd be surprised, but when we see a person as a whole, our brain processes the image differently in the background

as people see your outline, your shoes look unusual, and do not conform to some known configuration, that aspect of you sticks out, and they focus on it

same reason you can spot people in vibrams easier

(btw, these are all my own theories opinions and stuff)

  • @jokergd awesome shoes!
