This movie was really nothing special. Acting was pretty terrible, and the fighting was often too slow and predictable. I did like the storyline however, and found it to be fairly original.
And what's with the title? It has nothing to do with the actual movie; the character is not a monk, does not appear to be from Shaolin, and doesn't really drink. Sure he uses the Drunken Fist technique a few times but it just seems out of place when he does it. Gordon Liu certainly has better films.
