tube driver sounds pretty damn good! im thinkin about adding this in with my deluxe memory man Nova repeater and OCD and use it for all my modulation effects.. im dang excited... shoot i might even use it a few of the dirts

lol.....i know what you mean......but i bought this unit for the TIME BASED effects....delay, chorus, flange, verbs, etc.....and it does those WELL. i use my dirt pedals for fuzz and OD and distortion. BUT......if you tweak them well, the dirt models in the M9 are very useable.....i have used them at a gig and had pretty good results.....but i prefer my own dirt pedals or natural amp overdrive for sure!

Yeah the delay, chorus and the verbs are really good and offcourse tweakable. It would be a good replacement for my phaser/delays/verbs and flanger. But when I tested it I didn't feel like it could replace all that. It's just not the same :D

Wait - you have to admit. Mynameizbrian and Crash Test Dummy get some tones that really rock - of course they tweeked the snot of them until it sounded just right, but hey, it's one of the best multifx units out there - the best in it's price range by far.

it is for SURE the best multiFX i have ever had. and yes, with some good tweaking and some time, one can get very good distortion sounds out of the M9 -- but i prefer to use it for the delays/modulations/verbs......­.because it ROCKS for that. i like to use FX units for what they are GREAT at......but i could certainly use the M9 as my ONLY pedal when needed!
