But when use this method, any transition doesn't work... Could you tell me how to solve this phenomenon?

@doctorhs Hi, did not noticed that because I normally use not transitions, only hard cuts, but yes, a transition does not work when adding a letterbox.

@theoneandonlymeyupyu Did you turn on Advanced features? Go to iMovie, Preferences, Show advanced features. Also you need iMovie 09 or 11.

Hey, Your solution is very smart !! Thanks!! But I have a prob :/ I put the pictureinpicture thingy (cause i dont have cutaway idk why), i start to extend the letterbox so it can fit, but it just wont, its not bigger enough, theres like a thin line in the upper part and u can still see the video...

idk if it has something to do with the image size, I used the one of the link. Any ideas of how to fix it?

@SdHdProductions I think when you add it as PiP you get a thin line. Why can't you use cut away? Which version of iMovie do you run?

@reindog107 Did you use my letterbox? I had the same problem when I first ried it but it should become transparent if you do it either one of the 2 ways I showed in the video. Otherwise send me 1 videoshot of 4 sec and I will try it.
