  • the best!!!!!!

  • what is the music's title?? =) could anyone tell me please? =)

  • @YuzaneUDS Coptine d'un autre ete, l'apres-midi - Yann Tiersen

  • @YuzaneUDS its french and its called Comptine d'Un Autre Été if you copy and paste it into youtube you will see of a creep lady smily against a green background and its that song :)

  • Sepia FTW

  • Once you understand what Parkour truly is and what it stands for, then you can start developing your own style. Everything you feel as a whole person, everything you stand for then becomes part of your own movement.

  • Real life ninjas .

  • Nuff said

  • Epic.

  • yes scott can see your mad skills a mile away :)

  • Yes, this is dangerous..but Gods with me, which makes it a WHOLE lot safer :D

  • Song : Die fabelhafte Welt der Amelie

  • straight from 1930 bitches!

  • all the people who say it is dangerous they know!!!!!!!the are willing to take the risk for higher meanings than "just for the fun of it". for example i have broken my arm three times and my leg twice and i still kick ass at parkour. i knew i took the risk and i still do

  • @sadsac22 yeah you right! i broke my hand twice, and im om your side! yippie :)

  • whats the song?

  • @Bikni221 That i could not of said better myself

  • im going to refer to both pk and freerunning as parkour, but i know that they are different. parkour is such a good feeling because it shows you that you are under control of not only your own body, but your environment as well, and thats an idea that has been almost begotten of because of the rules of society. parkour is a lifestyle that turns us into the animals that we are meant to be, not the robots that we are told to be, so dictating what can and cant be done in parkour is simply wrong.

  • Made it seem like art in motion.

  • don't they care the obstacles you use from people the own it?

  • beautiful video

  • Dustman :) Great video

  • 0:44 Holy balance BATMAN!

  • nice vid! what do you call the move featured in 0:21 - 0:27?

  • @Tracemylens this move it's called Kip Up: there are alot of types, but in this video,he do Handstand-kip up,roll flip (roll and then kip up) and RUBBERBAND kip up,or suicide kip up (breakdancing move)

  • classic style in viedomotion is awesome to parkour moves

  • lovely!!

  • :')

  • Your kipup combo in the begening I love doing that. The rubberband kip hurts my wrist so I dont do it as much though. Great video love the slow mo fit with the music perfectly. By the way thats my favorite piano piece its a excellent song. Song name is comptine dun autre ete. Crazy name have no idea what it meens lol

  • Really nice video !! please write a song name :) thanks

  • @Report1997 Yann Tiersan - Comptine D'un Autre Eté. Beautiful song, from a beautiful movie -Amélie.

I was just playing this on piano before I saw the video, so perfect timing. :P

  • honestly didnt care for this

  • Total beauty. WOW.

  • Retro Parkour!

  • so beautiful its my style

  • You should learn to roll better by leading out of it with your other (left) leg forward. Leads to a much smoother exit.

  • Knowmads ftw

  • my favourite song:)))

  • What shoes are you wearing? Might get a pair of those

  • perfect song + perfect moviments + perfect edit = 3run videos

  • What you do is great, but since I'm a film student... Twixtor is just terrible. I'm not fond of the old film look thrown on either. Thumbs up though, but yeah... True high speed fps > distorted slow-mo. I'm sure most people who don't know won't notice though.

  • The slow motion is perfect to see better the moves.

    Great eidting, Great movement!

Awesome!!! I took this video on my blog registered..

  • beautiful motion

  • That was so cool but I didn't get the penny in the glass bit lol

  • 1:15 is bristol square isnt it? :p watched ur freerun show there 8)

  • Anybody else think that the first like, 56 seconds of this video could be a cologne commercial?

  • amazing job !!

  • Poetry

  • I liked this video, although i agree with that black and white comment instead of film grain, and i personally hate twixtor.

  • beautiful

  • I thought it said Parasite

  • Well done Scott!

  • another inspirational vid scott

  • The best part was the penny :)

  • @UrLocalAvonRep wonder how many takes they had to do haha

  • It's so fuckin' beautifu *__*

  • Yawn..

  • I just learned How to play this song today! Very Nice Song.

  • The arguing and the definitions of Parkour and Freerunning only just limit what I can do in my training... Also, isn't Parkour supposed to be about overcoming the mental and social "obstacles" in your life? What if flips and tricks do that?

The definitions only just limit of how I think and train... Which is the complete opposite of both artforms. You're supposed to free your mind, at least for me, in both in order to surpass life's obstaclea. Definitions only make that worse.

    My opinion. ^^

  • @Bikni221 But when you get caught up in being flashy, you can easily lose sight of the true reason you are training (self-improvement). But yeah arguing about the definition is stupid.

  • @amarmirza08 That's why self-control is so hard... Eventually, Parkour and Freerunning teaches you how to ignore that and to only train for yourself and not to show off to anyone else.

What would is your definition of "being flashy"?

  • @Bikni221 Well just that, doing something just to impress others. I am not one of those anti-flipping people, I think as long as it is approached with dedication and with parkour flow in mind (aka not just doing a gymnastics routine outside) flips/tricks are awesome. In the US at least, we are having a big problem with people who just watch a few parkour videos and think it is a good idea to try to flip off a building and record it. It is that mentality I despise because it effects us all.

  • @amarmirza08 So you mean with dedication and with the Parkour philosophy and discipline in mind? What do you mean by Gymnastic Routines outside? Like back-handsprings, round-offs on concrete?

Are you saying that in a route through obstacles it would be okay?

Like I agree with you... it takes dedication and a very long time to get to a certain level. You have to train your mind for months, probably even years to get to the point of such training to be done on buildings.

  • @amarmirza08 In Parkour you're not supposed to take risks, and that's what those people are doing, correct? Again, though years you have to train and train and be dedicated and committed to get to that certain point where doings stuff off of buildings won't be a risk.

For the Gymnastic routines being done outside, I believe that could be considered Parkour, as long as you have the right mindset. For me that would be a level of Parkour, where it would be considered conditioning.

  • @Bikni221 That is - the most meaningful comment I've read in a very long time.

    Thank you very much.

  • @Zelein My pleasure... Thank you for taking the time for reading my thoughts.

  • @Bikni221 who cares? the guys involved are just hot!

  • @Bikni221 38 people couldnt do flips

  • Comment removed

  • @Bikni221 completely agree, but the difference for me is that parkour came from saving lives, back with herber. so for me parkour is always safe, always efficient, always fluid, so we can be useful if needed. and free running was made to stop seb foucan being sued by belle! yes i agree parkour/free running is also a love of movement. but essentially, who cares what its called so long as you train to do what you wish to do. I love movement not names

  • @parkourrat I don't think Belle was going to sue Foucan... I think Seb just created Freerunning because Belle argued that being free wasn't technically Parkour. I may be wrong, I don't know.

But I agree with everything... What I personally do not like is when people start to forget about the discipline or philosophy and start to make PK/FR look bad.

  • @Bikni221 I don't waste my time "arguing" about the definitions of Parkour and Freerunning, I merely know what each discipline is TO ME. Following your own path also means following your own definition of words (in my opinion). The words you use really are just shells, and what you fill these shells with define how you see the world. So who really cares if someone disagrees with YOUR definition of a word? Words are just words. What the words mean TO YOU is the thing that should matter more...

  • @Benijermin Everyone has a different view of the matter. I'm more of a do-your-own-thing kinda guy; use your creativity and imagination in your training. Personally, I don't like the definitions to define and represent what I'm doing, others may disagree. It kinda just blocks the thought process and to just FEEL what I'm doing, and express myself. If I do have to use the definitions I use it as a reference tool and go from there.

  • Twixtor!

    love that song!

  • shooting a penny into the glass is just showing off

  • @CapnTRJ

    cool though

  • than again saying parkour is A to B to sum things up is a little shallow considering the philosophy and discipline that it originates from.

  • people who argue over what parkour means.....need to start caring less about what people say and get the heck off the computer and train...post a vid proving your definition....cuz it is unique for every single tracer...and that is something no matter how much arguing...u cannot change or take away....just live how u see fit...and call it what u want.

  • Sorry... but not even 3run is worthy enough to use this song, and I've been a fan since day one.

  • @hobrwk u turned it around.

  • fantastic.

loved the music, one of my favorite piano pieces.

  • Si filmases a 59,94fps el twixtor te daría mejores resultados ;)

  • anyone no the name of this songg???

  • @backfilpfdfd Yann Tiersen: comptine d'un autre été

  • brilliant

  • the ending was epic

  • I can do all of this apart from 00:00 to 2:20

  • glad to see 3run back outside where they belong.. :)

  • @bbuster9 u mean like in a doggy kenal?

  • this video was made with Eadweard J. Muybridge in mind. look him up, and his work, and you'll see why this video was made this way...

  • Me gusta the music ....

  • don't think you quiet understand what "raw video" means...

  • speaking of art....

  • Really cool video. Just wish they didn't use a camera from the 1960's

  • chill video

  • Nice nice!

  • 1920

  • Classic elegance

  • lol that's scott young he is a 3run member since the beginning.

  • Cool music, epic editing.. 70s parkour!

  • beutiful $

  • I would say..... Nice!

  • Hey... i play this on piano! XP

  • @mefeman1 not very impressive ^^

  • @psirus89 dick

  • good but is this guy new to 3run

    never seen him b4

  • love it dude, got a really nice vibe and some really good skills, respect!

  • i like the music but imo the video wasn't epic enough

  • awesome effects, looks like stop motion reality :D

  • that film grain was way overdone, should have just done sepia or black and white

  • @SoarParkour I think it's the entire point of the video. Not only does it fit the music, the effect also really brings out the beauty in it. Plus, I'd like to see any of you do better. -_- 3RUN FOR LIFE!!!

  • @Dumbwebsite42 Well I respect your opinion, but I think the amount of particles just makes it harder to watch. The beauty of movement stands alone, you don't need to put a mask over it.

  • I know tricking is the hardest... but what's harder parkour or freerunning? :o

  • @ALEXw0z3r3 i would say freerunning, but ofc, it depends on how good you are ;P

  • love it :)

  • 306 view and 388 like?!

  • is this guy new on 3run??

  • @Meho47 dude thats scott

  • Amelie!

  • 3run used to be one of the best teams out there...USED TO BE :) sorry guys, but this was not good.

  • Amazing film.

  • Free running is like Parkour training. When you're practicing new movements and flips, that's called free running. Then you benefit those movements in parkour.

  • Comment removed

  • i wish i could do this

  • very nice

  • 1:43 imitation of nathan barris mind frame

  • Shocking technique.

  • Parkour = gettin from point a to point b in a fastest AND comfortablest way . So if i feel like doing a front flip from point a to point b would be faster and i would express myself . I DO it ... therefore parkour and freerunnin = same thing .... It's just that people think if your doin parkour your not alowed to do flips ..... you are alowed to do whatever you want as long as you express yourself .

  • @atticanibal Actually, the point of parkour is not only getting from point a to point be in the fastest and most comfortable way, but also using the least amount of energy.

  • Ah damn now i gotta look for the comment of kingman766

  • 1:11-1:12 idk if it's just style, but he's rolling on his spine

  • insane

  • did you use fuckin camera from 70es or what :D

  • @MrCodaman He's using an editing program to create an olden days camera effect. Unless you're just trolling.

  • @hamtetutu lol dude, i know that haha, i'm not trolling,just joking...

  • i don't know if i'm hungry or not; but i read the title as "The Pastie".....

  • @kingman766 ok and im kinda tired of people making such a big deal about the difference between parkour and freerunning. Parkour=Movement Freerunning=Movement

  • same shit

  • This is awesome, but this must feel so sketchy when you do it..

  • bravo ! :D

  • So cool!!! I really love when you guys make this videos! Plz keep thm coming!

  • Muscle control is amazing

  • very good

  • I still can't do kip ups...
