Well i am not a goth but i can tell you some old school true gothic bands(one''friend''of mine is an old school goth thats why i know)

If you want some groups then check:Alien Sex friend,Bauhaus,Sisters of mercy,Sex gang children,Fields of the nephilim for example

I think Tanita is a better as well (she owns it, it's her song and expression) but what I really like is that these guys do their thing with it in. There's a version by Chyi Yu where she is basically just doing the same arrangement as Tikaram but without Tikaram's deep soulful understanding.

well, its not much, but sobriety means sober (basically) and if you have a twist of lemon or something with your alcoholic drink, then twist could be a substitute word for alcohol.

So if a person was alcohol in your soberness, then it means they're kind of ruining your life, or they oppose your principles in some way.
