A Kombi mexicana naquela época já tinha um moderno painel de instrumentos, semelhante ao do Gol CL brasileiro e a porta lateral corrediça, enquanto a Kombi feita no Brasil naquele mesmo período continuava com o velho painel dos anos 70 e com aquelas duas portas na parte de trás. Já os carros fabricados para exportação são cuidadosamente testados e com um padrão de conforto e segurança superiores ao dos veículos fabricados para serem vendidos aqui. Yes, it has the older jetta/bora 1.8L in line 4 gasoline engine with EFI. Later versions were made in Brazil after 1996, I believe they´re still making it down there.
