I was hoping that it would be the new Towncar. But wont it look horrible as a limo stretch? Lincoln is going in a great direction but will do even better once they bring back a coupe
The MKS is intended for buyers that would've purchased the V8 trim of the LS. Anyone with an LS right now, expect more HP from the base trim at 270! Woo!
No the MKZ did not replace the LS. The MKZ does not offer a V8 nor does it offer RWD. The MKZ was on the lots at the same time as the LS before the LS was discontinued. The MKS is the LS replacement, without FWD. Lincoln will be moving back to a RWD platform soon enough.
This is such a breath of fresh air for Lincoln. Such a nice departure from the out-dated Towncar that it replaces. I love the famous Lincoln waterfall grill....nice touch on a very modern car.

The MKZ replaces the LS. This car either replaces the Town Car or is at a new position in the Lincoln Line-up.
