This scene always fears me. How deep might the ocean be there? Maybe thousands of meters.....and her dead body sinks slowly into the wide opened eyes of the sea, straight into the pitch black dark, to rest all alone on the bottom of the sea, in eternal darkness and cold, a diving suit as her coffin.
A terrible idea. I hope that I will never end this way :(

gabrielle, tenho a mesma lembrança que voce. desde que vi este filme, nunca mais me esqueci desta imagem, de morrer no mar. hoje mergulho como hobby, mas sempre me emociono quando vejo o azul profundo...

next to 'le clan des siciliens' it 's an one of my oldtime fovorites, when gabin, delon, ventura and belmondo stopped acting french cinema simply died

Very moving indeed. The composer, François de Roubaix, died of a diving accident. What a "Grand Bleu" impression.
