This fight is easy. use bio or deadly waste on rufus, very susceptible to poision, then cure between limit breaks. NOIIIICE

I did this battle last night in no time - used cross slash on dark nation first go and killed him and only had to hit rufus about 6 times before he took off :)

Ugh!!! this is so stupid! I removed the materia from all characters , tried exhcanging and giving clooud the same materia as in the video or in other guides , and I keep getting the same freakin screen!!!

The first one appears in the experiment chamber when you defeat the Sample boss on level 67 (after encountering Hojo).

the problem is when you're first getting into Rpgs many bosses are seemingly hard, but after playing a couple, none of them really give a notable challenge. The most recent challenging one i've played is Skies of Arcadia Legends, where there were on occasion extra bosses that were quite hard.

You should've had bolt or bio linked with all. Rufus is EXTREMLY weak against poison magic. And you should've killed Dark Nation first As he does all the protecting.

I love this game. Playing Final Fantasy VII was great times in my youth. I was 14 when I first played this game and was addicted to playing this classic. I really like the Boss music in this game for some reason. I can barely wait for Final Fantasy XIII (long wait yet) as I found Final Fantasy XII somewhat disappointingly. Final Fantasy X is my favourite in the series after this game.

This was easy use grenade on Dark Nation that dies and Pound in ur limit then a grenade and he dhould be dead

pretty sure you need the elemental materia linked to the lightning materia for it to have any effect

omg the boss battle is so stupid everyone know you go for the hound first as that is the only thing protecting rufus.you guys must be pretty new to this game if this is you method...

Who cares what's the best way to defeat them. Sometimes i deliberatel do things a different way to make it harder, more fun.
