I agree. It SUCKED that of all people, Commissar Lord Bernn was the one who didn't say a THING during the Imperial Guard campaign. Commissars are supposed to be military advisers, leaders, fierce soldiers beyond compare. Not mute bastards whose only act of expression during the whole game is to point a gun at Sergeant Merrick when he punches Castor in the face. They should have taken all of Adrastia's airtime or at least the majority and given it to Bernn. I hated that bitch.

To make the game seem more "epic" than it is, the popcap is to 100 rather than just having a countdown of how few squads you have left to train.

The sergeants are +5 population each so that's 10+ population (commisar and sergeant) as well as the population required to train the squads in the forst place. Relic believes in less unit=more strategy.

I suppose DOW2 obeys the table top in that aspect, but if I wanted to play table top, I'd have more fun doing so!

DOW3 probably will have a 2 squad limit but some super shiny graphics at this rate.
