sorry but i think Turris never did love being in Phoenix..he was brought up in canada and is one of those players where history and team legacy means alot more..- he loved for sure to play for Gretzky, what canadian boy wouldnt...but after Wayne left, i dont think he wanted to stay..he doesnt like the team. end of story. and i totally get that.

@discodarth Do you realize how much more profitable the NHL is because of the teams in California? Sure it hasn't worked out so well in Phoenix but the Bettman project can't be considered a failure especially when putting more teams in Canada would just set the stage for more failure. What market in Canada could support another team like an American city could? Quebec City? No arena. Toronto? Already has a team. Canadian cities are just too small or ill-prepared.

Could you explain how the NHL is more profitable when all of the sunbelt teams are losing millions of dollars annually? They are considered a failure. Phoenix was fighting for 1st in the Western Conference and was 30th in the league in average attendance. Explain to me how that is not a failure? Quebec City can support an NHL team, and I'm sure an arena could be constructed to house the coyotes.Toronto can and will support a second team, with the 20000 seat arena in markham.
