The UAE and Gulf States in the Middle East really need to mandate "UNECE Transport Regulation 38" (UNECE = United Nations Economic Commission for Europe), this would stipulate the mandatory requirement for new market vehicles to have as standard equipment a "REAR FOG LAMP".
The rear fog lamp is designed for such conditions including sandstorms etc, they are stronger than a vehicles hazard-warning lamps which should in turn ONLY be used at crash scenes and breakdowns.
Repco Brabham champions in 1966 and 67. From my reckoning Toyota, Honda, Nissan, Subaru, Suzuki and Yamaha never did on their own despite trying many times.
