When you're as close as 0:22 you don't really have to scope in all the way. I usually just scope halfway and take the shot if the guy is near the center of my screen.

Dude im sorry to ruin your fun.... but this isnt sniping... your using a 4x scope to one shot people.. atleast if you are going to use a sniper rifle have enough pride to us an actual scope... using a 4x scope on a sniper rifle is almost as noobish as using a red dot sight on a VSS.... when you can pop head shots that give you atleast some marksman head shot points then you can call it sniping...

Honestly, be wisely aggressive with your recon class, try to find as many creatively discovered angles to hit the enemy from, focus ond blind spots, sneak around and pop your enemies while they're distracted, also, I find useful, mainly in Squad Deathmatch to get in a building, throw down a sensor ball to know if any fools are coming in the vicinity, and then snipe away, then shift your position.
dont get mgnm am while playing with a sniper rifle the bolt ones take body armor coz when you play hardcore a shot from any bolt rifles will get you a kill

Crysis is no "Call of Duty Killer" since Crysis is in a league of its own. If you're really looking forward to a FPS thats just different and plain fun/awesome i'd highly recommend Crysis2 and and Bulletstrom :)

you should have it with the stock scope. acog really cripples its long range capabilities, especially wen the stock scope has a built in bullet drop reticule.
2) Are you gonna upload any Battlefield 1943 content, I (and a lot of other Battlefield players) really enjoy that game and it would be great if you could upload some gameplay of it....

Nice, man! You seem to strafe left and right in a sort of panic motion when you take shot in action and I think that is the cause for some of your misses in this particular video. I like how you run and gun with the recon kit but i think you should sit back a little more and get more of a situational perspective. I can see the assault and engineer in this gameplay and you should step back a little for the recon kit. Other than that, i think with practice you'd be a pretty lethal little sniper!

Swordsman, try the VSS to practice, then use the SVU then try the GOL to get GOOD. I NEVER sniped in games before i tried using the vss to start. @YoshiFan100 its not hard, just time consuming, you just need to spend like 4 hours to get a license, and shooting is kind of hard but not too bad if you have a big open proprety or an actuall range near by
You could try the m24 it has a decent rate of fire and great power most oth the times I use 12x and magnum so I can get the 1 shots at close range and the mp443 is an amazing pistol for any class

i find using the sv98 acog with either the 1911 or the revovler with magnum ammunition to work well for that sort of sniping. The sv98 has 10 rounds before you need to reload again which is always a plus
great vid as always thumbs up and a question if you have the time. does the sv98 have a longer range for a 1 shot kill to the body than the other bolt action snipers?
@swordsmanx75 i htink the GOL is faster; the GOL has a straight pull bolt so it should be slightly faster, then again i'm a long range sniper; on this vid you seem to be doing something more like marksmanship
@Idinatan actually when a sniper has a stright back in real life it takes longer to cock because it makes your arm go into a uncomforatable position, when you do the up & back it brings you shoulder over and you have alot of room, when you go stright back it just hurts
Hey Swords if your gonna go with the sv98 with 4x acog you may want to run magnum if your not already that way you know that most every hit anywhere on the boby will be a kill
Yo Swords, you should do a "pick a kit" gameplay: a full round where you spawn with just about nothing and you're obligated to pick up and play the first kit you find lying on the ground and if everything's calm around you and you stumble upon a kit, you pick it up. It's both fun and challenging :)
Is it me or on xbox you don't have 32 players servers, whenever I watch you guys, ain't the chaos I see whenever I play on pc, shooting and explosions everywhere, mortar and so on. Looks like you guys always play 24 players max.
To spice it up you could try shotgun only, or even more agency style (ngt); pistols only
why do so many commentators play non hardcore. I cant stand it, takes more shots to drop people, op broken spotting system and the ultra gay kill cams. I totally hate it and don't get why everyone doesn't play hardcore.
I admit those faults in standard but the things that bug me out in hardcore outweigh the ones in standard by far: snipers sitting in their bushes throughout the whole game because they can't be spotted, even more people also playing sniper because of the long 1-hit kill range, medics gunning you down and ressing to grind points, get roadkilled by your blue mates all the time if you try to repair, people teamkill you for the vehicles, the same flavor of the month guns everywhere
great video this style i always use i have head start of my enemy 12x snipers if im close or from a far. but yeah swords it most common to shy away from your own weapons and own set up. i mean why always use the same things, this game has a lot of guns and great selection to pick from so try and mix it up as much as possible 5/5 to dcru
I often like to think that putting an ACOG or a Red Dot on a sniper essentially makes it feel like a shotgun with slugs. So I guess swords, if you can rock well with Shotguns you can easily rock with a red dot sniper
When i snipe (With 12x scope, i suck with 4x and red dot) i either do really well or just bad. It ocaison\ly depends on my team, but not as much as other classes. If i can get a good position i can do pretty well
The M95 in this game, as bad-ass as it seemed, just didn't really have a purpose when you could choose the SV-98 and the GOL. Huge power, but still needing a headshot for a 1-hit kill.
@CrimsonOmen407 - I always just take ammo. Its super easy to noscope the VSS at short to medium ranges, and it is not that effective at long ranges, but the standard scope does just fine for me.

When i feel like "sniping" i just pick my GOL, the velocity pack whatever is called, and the Ceramic body armor and i'm done. Good positioning and not stay in a same place for more than one minute are simple facts that most ~snipers~ in this game lack, which mean they are fresh meat to me.
But if i want to get closer just pick one of the repetition rifles+magnum ammo, haven't tryied that?
2 days in a row Battlefield is not enough, I orgasm a little every time I see a BF video and get a giant case of turtle dick when I see Call of Duty...

i find using the sv98 acog with either the 1911 or the revovler with magnum ammunition to work well for that sort of sniping. The sv98 has 10 rounds before you need to reload again which is always a plus

@Idinatan actually when a sniper has a stright back in real life it takes longer to cock because it makes your arm go into a uncomforatable position, when you do the up & back it brings you shoulder over and you have alot of room, when you go stright back it just hurts

when using M95 mgnm ammo isn't a required spec, but if u want to be sure about the kills then use it.
I personally think M24 is the easiest sniper to use with reg scope and mgnm ammo. Actually, I always use mgnm with snipers! =D
So try out M95 with a red dot or acog, M24 with reg scope and GOL with acog. I would like to see atleast the last one because I suck with it. =)

Yo Swords, you should do a "pick a kit" gameplay: a full round where you spawn with just about nothing and you're obligated to pick up and play the first kit you find lying on the ground and if everything's calm around you and you stumble upon a kit, you pick it up. It's both fun and challenging :)

Is it me or on xbox you don't have 32 players servers, whenever I watch you guys, ain't the chaos I see whenever I play on pc, shooting and explosions everywhere, mortar and so on. Looks like you guys always play 24 players max.
To spice it up you could try shotgun only, or even more agency style (ngt); pistols only

why do so many commentators play non hardcore. I cant stand it, takes more shots to drop people, op broken spotting system and the ultra gay kill cams. I totally hate it and don't get why everyone doesn't play hardcore.

I admit those faults in standard but the things that bug me out in hardcore outweigh the ones in standard by far: snipers sitting in their bushes throughout the whole game because they can't be spotted, even more people also playing sniper because of the long 1-hit kill range, medics gunning you down and ressing to grind points, get roadkilled by your blue mates all the time if you try to repair, people teamkill you for the vehicles, the same flavor of the month guns everywhere

great video this style i always use i have head start of my enemy 12x snipers if im close or from a far. but yeah swords it most common to shy away from your own weapons and own set up. i mean why always use the same things, this game has a lot of guns and great selection to pick from so try and mix it up as much as possible 5/5 to dcru

I often like to think that putting an ACOG or a Red Dot on a sniper essentially makes it feel like a shotgun with slugs. So I guess swords, if you can rock well with Shotguns you can easily rock with a red dot sniper

When i snipe (With 12x scope, i suck with 4x and red dot) i either do really well or just bad. It ocaison\ly depends on my team, but not as much as other classes. If i can get a good position i can do pretty well

The M95 in this game, as bad-ass as it seemed, just didn't really have a purpose when you could choose the SV-98 and the GOL. Huge power, but still needing a headshot for a 1-hit kill.

@CrimsonOmen407 - I always just take ammo. Its super easy to noscope the VSS at short to medium ranges, and it is not that effective at long ranges, but the standard scope does just fine for me.

When i feel like "sniping" i just pick my GOL, the velocity pack whatever is called, and the Ceramic body armor and i'm done. Good positioning and not stay in a same place for more than one minute are simple facts that most ~snipers~ in this game lack, which mean they are fresh meat to me.
But if i want to get closer just pick one of the repetition rifles+magnum ammo, haven't tryied that?
