That glitter look so shiny. Gorgeous. It looks like the Martha Stewart Glitter. You could really cover anything with glitter. Do you put a varnish or anything over the glitter so it doesn't come off?. What could you use? TFS!! :)

Hi missasschic, if you use the Designer Dries Clear Adhesive and spoon the glitter on while the glue is wet, white and shiny like Barbara instructs, the glitter will not come off and you don't need a protective coating! There will be some initial shedding, but that's just because the glitter is so fine. If you want to avoid some shedding, brush the excess off after your pumpkin is completely dry, (at least 2 hours or so).

Hi robinbcarp, this pumpkin Barbara uses is a faux, decorative pumpkin. But if you use real pumpkins they can last at least a month to even three months. It depends on the quality of your pumpkin, if there is any rotting inside. Works great with gourds too!
