I wonder if this is what its like in the forced labour camps in China and Tibet. Its pathethic that a country with no civil rights and a brutal totalitarian government would make an advert like this and expect people to buy it!
I like the video.. even though it isn't the reality yet~~ (especially the part where the driver lets the pedestrian go. ha) I hope people can be like this in the future though. ^^
I just got back from a trip to Shanghai and Beijing. I saw this commercial on TV in China a few days after taking some wild video footage while riding in taxi's. When I saw this commercial I laughed so hard, then nearly teared when the guy in the car let a pedestrian walk first. It's really the opposite out there. Thanks for posting this I was hoping to find it to add it to the end of my China Vacation Taxi maddess videos!
Wrong, there are many Muslims and Buddhists in China. In fact, most of the people there are Buddhist. Why are you people making cracks at China for exaggerating in their ads? We do it in the US too.
I found so much more common courtesy in China than in the US. The guy who sat next to me on the plane from Beijing to Xi'an gave me a ride to my hotel when we landed, I tried to give a guy in the airport 5 yuan to use his cell phone, he let me use it but wouldn't take the money, the cab drivers turn off the meter several blocks before you arrive at your destination... I've never been treated so well in the US.
I love that when this nice Chinese olympics ad got ripped off in America it became for insurance.

If only the real world was this friendly. You'd stick out and look odd for trying to help someone in Beijing rather than be praised.
