@pyestudiocolour LOL! Wrong side of the road! No roundabouts over here either unfortunately Neil. I wish there were because they are too much fun (:->
@bluenazz I quite like roundabouts, but there are a few really awkward ones that I try to avoid as they are so complicated and I always seem to end up in the wrong lane!
@CenTexVideo This vid was taken in an area where geologically, the Canadian Shield is prominent. Sudbury is primarily a mining city, nickel, etc. I don't think that it is strip mining though. I visited West Virgina back in 1976, coming in from Pittsburg. I had friends who were "hippies" and they bought an old farm in the mountains.
That highway could be lifted right out of New Hampshire (the Granite State). The big difference being that the NH roads are usually split so the cars are all going the same way. How did you film this? Are you using a digital camcorder of some kind?
@MrPlatypus9 I haven't spent quality time in New Hampshire Marty but I'd like to one day. I didn't know it was the Granite State! Highway 69 is currently being converted to a split highway and the construction was to the left in the video. It's a huge job taking years, but totally necessary for safety reasons. It's been a death trap for years. I was holding a Kodak Playsport camcorder, and trying to drive carefully (:->
I enjoyed this video. Great countryside. Looks a bit like upstate New York (without the high taxes LOL!)

@margaretsville Upstate NY? Interesting, I will definitely visit when I move back east one day!

Hey, you're on the wrong side of the road! Only joking - looks beautiful countryside there.
Very few things beat driving through countryside on a sunny day with great music on the stereo!

Nice country up there. I never saw rural Canada much...only the cities but my eyes were very pleased.
West Virginia is like this to a certain extent. At least I don't see obvious signs of strip mining from the highway.

@bluenazz Oh yeah, you got to drive on the old two lane winding highways that passed through every little town+bar.

@CenTexVideo Definitely! I remember stopping in one little town and it was just like the Beverly Hillbillies before they moved to Beverly Hills (:->
