That was the second torture scene. It was only available if you got out of jail quick enough. That was Snake and Strangelove talking. Since I didn't know what to do in jail, I was forced to enter another torture scene, and the dialogue was different.

@mastergradeone I get what you mean. I felt the story was a little weak and a bit too fantasy-like (but then again the big boss story was meant to be more fantastical I believe?). The gameplay was the best I've seen for a metal gear game though. The talking after the end credits blew my mind too, it made the Big Boss tragedy make more sense

Man... as a HUGE fan of the MG1,2,&3 I am dissapointed with where Kojima is bringing the series. It's becoming more and more random. The ending of 4 was just plain terrible and seemed like an excuse to have basically all the characters on the higher graphics of the PS3. The last few artistic renditions of the characters in this video were so corny....

Im a huge fan of Metal Gear. I have completed MGS1 2 3 4 numerous nuuumerous times including Portable Ops and Portable Ops +. I do not see how this game is any different then portable Ops Plus when it comes to tactile gameplay. I was hoping for a more unique style due to its ps3 Counterpart (MGS4) wich has become one of the most epic in todays sneaking games. I was looking for the same results just on a lower scale considering its a hand held console. Its missin that unique vibe of anticipation.

Really looking forward to it, but one thing will be a big bother, the cut scenes. I didn't like how they were played out in the demo, in form of comic strips. I'm hoping that was temporary and they will play out normally in the full game.

@TheSpoofMan3 Yeah, the cutscenes were the same way in Portable Ops. I didn't like it at first as I prefer actual cutscenes, but I mean the voices were still there and the comic still moved the story along just fine, so while I'm not a fan, it's not THAT bad.

I was hyped for this game until I found out about the multiplayer details. There is no infanstructure mode, there is instead an adhoc party mode. It allows you to play the co-op game mode online, but only through a ps3 console, so if you don't have a ps3 you can forget about playing it online. It makes no sense to release a game exclusive for the psp, and then go around and make a game mode compatible only through another system.

MPO had online play and MPO+ was an expansion FOR the multiplayer mode. Your saying MPO+ had no online mode when, in fact, that was the main focus of the game.

Online mode is showing up less in PSP games now though. I hope Peace Walker has online play.

yeah, kojima said that despite the fact that solid snake's story ended with MGS4, there's still a lot to tell with Big Boss's story. so, we should expect more games in the future with Big Boss as the main character.
