I don't remember any other song during this time that dominated the charts like "How can I ease the pain." Wonderful song. I recall on a morning show that Lisa Fisher actually shared what Patti whispered in her ear...and I guess smiling graciously was more appropriate than fainting. Patti apparently informed Lisa that that would be the only time she'd be winning anything for her album, so she should enjoy it! Not very Christian like behavior at all.
