I was there during filming. It is STC and was a Scotia bank right outside Eatons 2nd level. You can see the 3rd level restaurant that overlooked the mall in one scene. Sears closed the wall up now. Think the mall had been open just that year. I remember that filming was originally cancelled a few days before because someone at the bank leaked it out to their kid and after he blabbed, half the kids from the surrounding high schools showed up. Had to wait a few days.
It looks like Eatons Centre, look at the begining of the movie, when the detective says lets go, thats Toronto or Shuter Street, near Yonge, where the street ends, so they did not go far to the mall!!
Its STC. The view you're looking at with the Eaton's store in the back is currently the front of Sears, near entrance with Moxie's. That particular Eaton's had a top floor restaurant that looked down onto the mall, and you can see it in the video as that dark span across the store above the Eaton's signage. I miss that restaurant.
