  • I have one.. i am still single

  • hahahaha awesome

  • the S4 (1986-1988) –S5(1989-1991) Mazda RX-7 was assembled in

    Hiroshima, Japan

  • I like how the girls pull up in last years model R-X7 . Clever advertisement.

  • tt does put out power as smooth as silk

  • fc all the way!

  • ROCK FORDの事件メモの、ジェームス・ガーナーが、マツダRX-7のCMに出てるなんて!驚きだよねー(@o@)

    ロックフォードつったら、トランザムだっけ?カマロだっけ?のアメ車のイメージだったんだけど。

    日本のスポーツカー、RX-7のCMに出てたなんて、喜ばしいですねぇ~(^^)v

    それにしても、ジェームスガーナーはハンサムだしかっこいい男だなぁ。

    彼の真似して俺はジャケパンスタイルなんだよね。今も(^^;

  • @pitinmayumi - You're Chinese, right?

Was Rockford popular in China back in the 1970s, or are they now playing it on re-runs?

  • Its not goofy its telling middle age men that if they buy this car young women will find them attractive. Once you see how ads are trying to manipulate you they become humorous.

  • i like how the yanks say mauzda !!!

  • @napolean34 The name Mazda is derived from Ahura Mazda the god of light, and is also said to have a correlation with the founders last name Matsuda. Both are pronounced with a flat "a" as in hat. He pronounced it mahzda (which is correct), not mauzda. Not once did i hear a "u" in his enunciation. Hows that for a yank response?

  • @MrFreshDougie sounds like forza

  • the coolest

  • It's all about Jimbo.

Check out his classic F1 movie Grand Prix.

    Be good Jimmy!

  • SEE THOSE ROTA HOES!!!!!!!

  • The average blown 86-91 RX-7 fails at 175,000 miles due to a busted coolant seal (blown headgasket). With regular coolant, thermostat, etc. changes they never fail, not until at least 300,000-350,000 miles anyway. These are typical figures from the community of drivers. Even the less reliable 92+ twin turbos don't fail before 100k; anyone who says so invented it from their other hole.

Love the commerical, especially the girls at the end. Lol.

  • I miss my RX-7. Helluva lotta fun for a cheap sports car. Wasn't really a fast car, but it's amazing handling more than made up for the lack of power. And for the rotary haters out there, I bought my RX-7 when it was 10 years old, and it's one of the most reliable cars I ever had. You just have to maintain it properly. Do NOT use synthetic. Plain old Mobil 10w30 every 3000 miles kept her happy. Full compression after 100k miles of my abuse, and no oil leak or burn-off. I should buy another!

  • @2WhiteAndNerdy You can use synthetics now in rotary motors. The old synthetics had the problem of not burning. The new stuff burns just fine. Also the new synthetics do not have the issue with seals anymore. Read on Royal Purples site if you do not believe me.

  • @badassxr50r Good to know! Thanks for the info!

  • @2WhiteAndNerdy No prob rotor on! lol!

  • LOL...Garner won't be smiling when he has to rebuild his rotary before 100K

  • @aji8 How many rotaries have you rebuilt before 100k? I've owned 3 in my past, all still running... one past 320k (but she's very tired).

  • @djahriman as would any motor after that many miles piston or rotary.

  • @aji8 You're making trouble on other videos too? *sigh* get over it dude. I got just about 260k on her and she still is running. Apparently so does @djahriman... lol

  • Wow how come Pontiac didnt use Garner to promote their Trans Am?

  • The people in the vid must not realize how unreliable the rotary engine is. If so they wouldn't get near this car. Garner should be ashamed of himself.

  • @aji8 YOURE Ignorance IS giving me a headache.

  • @iamxeddiex see It's so bad it's making me have spelling errors!

  • @iamxeddiex

LOL..oh is that what you call intelligence. Nice try...loser rotard.

  • @aji8 @aji8 oh this is going to be too easy we let more and more people about you and you will get owned again ... you are the laughing stock of you tube ..

  • @aji8 right unreliable, come back with some proof that the rotary is unreliable. Their a ton of rotarys out their with over 100k miles on them and still running strong

  • @aji8 Ive owned several Rx-7's and they all went over 150k. I think much of that is exaggerated.

  • One better...Are you the guy who does the wild one wheel burnouts in the VB Commo-after ive chugged a ctn of the green cats piss

  • i love this because i own one!!!

  • i have the same car but with better rims and it has a tail

  • is that cindy walsh from 90210 saying is that your rx7

  • I get that all the time....."Arent you the driver of this 1996 Taurus?"

  • lmfaoo

  • Hahaha. Awesome car, ridiculous commercial.

  • lol same thing happens when i go to the meets!

  • What, no turbo?

  • @erich84502

I believe this was a very early commercial for the 2nd generation RX-7. The turbo model didn't come out until mid 86.

  • sweet

  • haha cheezy

  • tell me he about to get them girls!? lol jk

  • where's the great James Garner ad with him driving down the coast in his Mazda Convertible with the song Go Where you Wanna Go playing in the background? We need it on YouTube!

  • love the scarf

  • heeeeey those are kinda the same reactions I get from chicks when I drive my 7
