awesome guitarist and a truly awesome voice thanx tim for showing me this video !!!! a great loss to everyone !!!!! hes got to be one of my idols now and someone to inspire me totally awesome !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! cal !!!!!!!!
I saw Jeff at his second (and third) show ever in the UK. Jaw-dropping.
I was also lucky enough to meet him when he played at Hammersmith Odeon - a real gentleman - and a phenomenal player. I also saw one of his last shows in the UK too and he seemed to be just enjoying himself. RIP Jeff!
I TRULY believe "ingvarai" has got the BEST explanation and true feeling as to how you felt inside along with adrenalin racing when you stood in front of JH.........Forever Awesome i will ALWAYS RESPECT YOUR GREATNESS........
I regard myself lucky to have seen Jeff Healey twice live in Glasgow at two different venues.....Barrowlands Ballroom (famed for "BIBLE JOHN" murders in the 60's) and "THE GARAGE" on Sauchiehall St........You were AWESOME THEN,,,,,,NOW,,,,,,,,AND FOREVER AND I WILL BE FOREVER LOYAL TO YOUR GENIUS TALLENT...................wulliebigboy
I saw him in the Pumpehuset, also in the Scandinavian region, in Copenhagen. He was playing for blind people. I was standing right front of him.I could touch his shoes.HE WAS AMAZING!!great man, rest in peace....
Yes Jeff was truly amazing. I build custom guitars and have talked with him several different times. Jeff could take a classic like this amd make it his own. No matter what he was playing (rock, blues etc) he was always at the top of his game. Jeff was blessed and got to play with many of thr greatest guitarist that ever put their fingers on a fretboard. But I think what impressed me the most was the feeling he played with. He will be sadly missed. Please keep his music alive.
The biggest jaw-drop I have had ever was in 2004 when Jeff was at the same festival - Notodden in Norway. I froze down my spine, what a musician. RIP Jeff, you gave and give me so much..
Great performance! Great voice! RIP Jeff! Angels be with you in heaven!
