no you only need the freq. generator (NE555) and a thermoresistor
then put a normal pc fan on the ground and the freq. out
just play a little bit with the freq., duty cycle and diffrent caps

This not use a µc.

nice. what/where can i get something for my shuttle 200w fan. it's quiet but moves air with such force it makes noise when hits metal fan guard. DX has a cheap 7-12v rated 3-pin resistor. i'm not sure if i can connect to +5v red wire psu fan.
