It's hard to imagine Mark Hamill playing the role of a villain. As Muska, when he takes over Laputa, he gets so creepy.

@impp010 As awesome as that chord is, I also find the dissonant strings rising from 0:50-1:00 even more chilling; it makes the hair on my skin tingle. That and hearing Mark Hamill's evil laugh as this character really made this scene so powerful for me.

This cue is so much more powerful than the original Japanese version, particularly in the scenes where Muska dumps the General to his death and the robots attacking. There's something about the immense power of the orchestra that really breathes life into these final moments, making the movie fresh and less outdated.
