one day this thing will collapse, and you will hit the ground so hard, that you will instantly stop loving heights as soon as you travel INTO the ground. STOP IT!
One of the reasons I got out of the biz was I could cope with 26 meters but nothing higher than that. And that is pretty tall but at the same time pretty awesome. Guess the only way for me to cope up there is concentrate on the job and remember to wear my safety harness cliped to the cage ;)
I work for a streetlighting company and we use cherry pickers for that we go up 18mtrs max and that's scary enough!!! So fuck this!!! U wouldn't catch me up that high for shit!!!
thats a sick machine... definately stable though,, it looks Beefy,,, mounted on a truck with outriggers... ive seen these 185 foot lifts,, although the ones ive seen require an operator to control it from the ground , like a crane... biggest if run is the Genie 135 foot Knuckle boom, and a JLG 135 straight.. jlg also makes a 150,, never seen one in person..
I've never seen a two part telescoping boom that reaches that high. I operate a 135 ELLIOTT and fully extended it sways like crazy with wind, i can only imagine how that felt in the basket. The control box looks sweet
You're absolutely right, impervious-skull1, I should leave you alone. As an ISA certified arborist I really should refrain from picking apart the banal comments of the mentally challenged. Perhaps you should just think a bit before you post your pathetic comments about videos from hard working men who want to share the joy of their work. If you're so proud of YOUR work, why not post a video? Afraid some ass hole might say it's no big deal? Cheers to acetreemaster for sharing their work!
i used to work using scaffolding and the highest i went on a cherry picker was 120 ft and the swing was nearly 2 metre's my work mate was shiitting his self in fack i was not to happy either but managed to keep my cool i really love hights tho but 120 ft in the air did get my blood flowing lol
Why would I lie? There are plenty of 'cool' pictures about. Actually, I'm quite flattered that you think that it is 'cool'. Even though we were in a war zone and there was not so much as a sniff of women, even the Islanders, Nick and myself were a couple of real poseurs. He was worse than me though. He'd spend forty five minutes in front of the mirror whenever we stayed aboard ship, preening himself.
Curious as to why you think ANYONE in this world would care about your imaginary experience. So you climbed a tall ladder with Astro-Glide all over your hands..... You want a cookie or something?
I think what's difficult for anyone to understand is why you felt it necessary to add your negative comments in the first place. Acetreemaster are professional arborists who are passionate about what they do and want to share the perspective of their work. Sadly, your comments indicate that you're an elderly man who sits and one-ups every video no matter how impressive. No one cares about your war stories.
You're so clearly one of those tools that will always one-up what ever story is being told. And will do so without being asked. I feel sorry for your kids and your grand kids. Grand kids? At 45? How big's your trailer? Paper millionaire!? You understand that just because you write the word 'millionaire' on a piece of paper, you aren't actually a millionaire, don't you? Bottom line is that no one clicked on this video to read about your 'stories', little boy. Not a single person....

That is one big damn bucket. The largest I've ever been in would go about 120 ft (around 37 meters) and that was plenty. 60 m... damn
