  • @adventuremaniac to me the bodies looked like ashes, but i see it now.its the same old disney, relax.just with a fair amount of death. 😉

  • @TooFlyForMoney his name is chien-po

  • the chubby guys face is so epic when he hands him the general's helmet.

  • I don't think Disney has ever depicted a war scene as gruesomely and as realistically to general audiences like between 0:00-2:20. And at 0:50, you know for a fact that the little girl, the owner of the doll, is dead. The looks of the soldier's faces when they observe the thousands of bodies littering the landscape, totally realistic. What the hell happened Disney? This is the kind of film that conveys more humanity than any film I've ever seen Disney make.

  • then they find out hes a she...

  • 5:05 We are SO screwed!!!

  • if i am not wrong, in total war it sates that the huns have the best mounted horse archers and cavalry, so those troops were at so much of a disadvantage and yet they still won.

    still an epic scene

  • seriously how is it that you can dislike this? i mean i personally cant find any reason! its nothing less than perfection :DD

  • i get chills watching this! :D makes me want to be there fighting :DD

  • muhaha mushu murphy rules the picture.

  • "Oh, sure, Save the HORSE!"

  • am i the only one who sees the huns shooting at the cricket too?

  • ''Search for survivors? Really?''

  • Not ride of the Rohan, its the ride of the Huns!!!

  • @8:56 like a BoSS!

  • can someon tell me , WHERE does she get the bow froM:P? , the arrow flies to her , and then she randomly got a bow that she is using haha:)

  • When disney was still awesome. =(

Seriously, the only reason why i watch Disney is to watch reruns of this movies and also the movies from Disney's Pixar.

  • This is the Disney I want back! Epicness and pure heroism

  • click the snow button?

  • 5:17 one of the most epic moments in disney history.

  • in Mulan disney story the huns lost but in the true story the huns won the hun are the mongols and they broke the great wall of china

  • Why does the Chinese army include only, like, 10 people? O_o

  • @rgur90x the rest of the army got a dose of some Hun booty-kicking! look no further than 1:10 to see where the rest of the Chinese Army is

  • @MrBilmister Ah, right, I skipped that part when I watched vid^^

  • @rgur90x Apparently, every single other available soldier is lying dead in that field.

  • I adore the silence at around 4:42. Not enough films these days utilize the power of silence.

Then you see the smoke goes away, Shan Yu revealed himself atop the hill, his army gradually fill the horizon, truly an "oh yeah, wait, oh shit" moment. As the Hun army descended it was a pleasant (and thrilling) surprise that there were FAR more men than it appeared to be, ready to trample faces.

"If we die, we die with honor!"

    Chinese army: Do Not Want!

  • Favourite disney scene ever <3

  • I like Mulan's take on battle. "Dying with honor? Not good enough. Let's try stopping them, shall we?"

  • a 100000000 arrows pouring down on a group of soldiers yet only one person is wounded and there are no fatalities..

  • LOL 15 imperial soldiers versus 1 million huns

  • 8:58 you should see the look on your faces. Priceless

  • Shan-Yu looks like freakin Machete. XD

  • good going dragon. from 5:04 on, im genuinely scared.

  • I love at 8:53 the big guy (I forgot his name) I love how he just walks up and is all like "Indeed let me show you how badass I am"

  • 8:46 pissed myself laughing

  • ok so they honestly expected 8 men to hold back the whole hoard of mongels

  • @watcher792 huns not mongels

  • @KingsofSparta i meant huns lol when i think of rampaging horsemen i instantly think Mongol lol my bad

  • @watcher792 death before dishonour

  • 2 people died without honor.

  • Sneaky chinese motherfucker...

  • 5:01, chills everytime

  • EPIC

  • By the way, it's a good thing that Mulan is able to grip that horse with her legs

  • shan yu disliked this video...

  • Hmm, tell me if I am wrong, but I think this HAS to be the most epic fight/battle scene in all of Disney history!

  • @Darklordjohnson you're wrong, it IS the most epic battle scene in Disney history

  • @Darklordjohnson

yes, definitely so true!! i love it <3

  • @Darklordjohnson I TOTALLY agree, this scene is on par with the epic battle scenes in the first Pirates of the Caribbean and the first two Chronicles of Narnia films.

  • @Darklordjohnson you're absolutely right....this is my all time favorite movie to watch and yet i'm a 17 yr old boy....lmfao

  • i like how there only like 30 of imperial soldiers and 100000000 huns

  • best music

  • I love this soundtrack,this heavy dubb....dubb...dubb... that plays in 0:53

  • mulan was the best fighter there was and the smartest. She ruled for a woman warrior

  • my child hero wasn´t Batman or Spidermen or supermen or something like this

    It was MULAN !!

  • my child hero wasn´t Batman or Spidermen or supermen or something like this

    It was MULAN !!

  • best bit...the smoke clearing and there is Shan Yu the badass motherfucker..then about 10,000 soldiers come over the hill...FUCK THAT i would run

  • Comment removed

  • disney always had the best villians. you can't tell me none of you guys were affraid of the big ass germans or norweigians in mighty ducks. haha.

  • 3:20 Mushu's face !! ahahaha is the best...like WHAT THE FUCK !!! O_O hahahah xD

  • shan yu was hot :D and his character was chenghiz khan's . Did you know he had an eagle too ??? and that eagle saved his life once ???

  • Chuck Norris was the rocket.

  • The Rohan so copied these Huns during the Ride of the Rohan on Minis Tirith in LOTR...

  • @jakescs123 The Lord of the Rings books were written in the 1940's, if anything mulan copied LOTR

  • @jakescs123 what ? uhm no

  • @jakescs123

    Rohan's was SO much better!

  • @jakescs123 Fuck you they didn't.

  • @jakescs123 I KNEW IT REMINDED ME OF SOMETHING!!!

The scenic (for loss of a better word) in LOTR is rather different...but still, yeah.

  • " IF WE DIE, WE DIE WITH HONOR!"

  • @561sage "Die? F@#% That! I would rather just cause a gigantic avalanche!"

  • @NBE21 i remember when i saw this movie and after it, i would always say that, if i was going from one side of the pool to the other i would say" if i die, i die with honor". haha.

  • I like Eddie Murphy better as Mushu than I do Donkey.

  • i mean there

  • what the heck he got hit with an arrow!!!!!!! how in the world could their be no blood

  • @CoolChick111100 It's a Disney movie for little CHILDREN e w o''

  • there was blood on mulan i don't get it

  • @CoolChick111100 Yeah i know that but If they fill it with blood totally then they might put a bad influence for the kids. Because ya know it can't be that bloody and violent~ ^^;

  • hmmm werent there alot more guys in the lady song.... wonder what happened to them...

  • @chicken0168 LOL I know!! I always thought it was funny how their regiment kept shrinking and growing in number between scenes.

  • I cannot BELIEVE they fucked this fight up so badly in Kingdom Hearts II.

  • 0 deaths chinese,3000 deaths huns. impossible!!!!

  • @nighthawke2 Hahahahaha!

  • That's a role model! Go, Mulan!

  • Noooooooo I felt like I was watching the movie. Was sad when it ended :(

  • HAHAH I WATCHED THIS SCENE JUST FOR 7:45!! THAT SHIT IS THE FUNNIEST

  • 5:05 was epic. I love Huns-ancestor of Mongolia. and Modun shanyu

  • shan yu<3

  • @harrier1990 why do you like that grey motha fucka!

  • Poor Shang..the scene with his father's helmet is so sad

  • did it even come out in theaters

  • Why there isn't an avalanche at 4:35?

  • @Mignha That's just rock, there's no snow up there.

  • You soldiers may be "King of the Rock" at camp, but this is a war-torn mountain, shit gets real.

  • ... and then she died?

  • @MapleBlakeMS ::SPOILER ALERT::

No, she gets patched up and brought back to a camp site where the soldiers then find out shes female and leave her on the mountain alone, mulan then sees 5-6 huns are alive including the leader, mulan then sets out after shang toward the emperors palace, in order to save china

  • 3:16 get ready for the disapprove face...

  • to think this is how violent disney got....

  • @Boomstik1123 naw, Atlantis had old men getting punched and Machine guns.

  • @Boomstik1123 Yeah they don't make movies like this anymore.

  • jw at 9:47, where the hell are you going to get help?!

  • Dead reds who cares

  • They keep changing the number of soldiers, I could have sworn there were at least twenty in the troop :/ Oh well, seeing the charge scene in theaters was freakin' EPIC, I'll remember it forever :)

  • in real life the chinese shuld have more soldiers

  • It must be a very strong ROPE to carry a horse 2 people a small dragon and a cricket!

  • @Angelbaby0xx it was!

  • @spoukas Lol :)

  • At 6:42 Shaun U's expression: Oh S**#! XD

  • I want an indestructible arrow strong enough to lift a horse, rider and company

  • Mushu is pretty much moral support. Practically speaking, he mostly causes trouble.

  • you miss how can you miss he was three feet front of you.

  • 2 inch thick medieval rope holding up a horse and 2 people? Yeah- that makes sense

  • @HoBoMoBob yeah but talking dragon, ghosts, self aware cricket, smart horse etc. they all make perfect sense.. :) cmon its cartoon afterall

  • Thumbs up if when you were 7 you thought Shan Yu was the scariest motherfucker out there!

  • @trumetyu when i was 7 i never used such language :3 but yeah, i was terrified of him. still a bit now... hehe

  • @trumetyu he was my childhood hero

  • @trumetyu dude, I'm an adult, and I STILL think Shan Yu is the scariest motherfucker out there.

  • Khan is a superhorse.

  • 6:42 Gotta love Mulan's smirk. :)

  • 5:05

    Oh. F*ck.

  • Comment removed

  • 8:43 that is one heck of a shot

  • did any of the huns die from attacking the first army?!?!?!!?

  • @coastalation In a historical sences, probably very few Xiongnu (or Hun) warriors were killed as they're armies mostly consisted of Horse Archers

  • 7:46 best bit ever!! can never stop laughing!

  • uh huh

and NOBODY WAS KILLED OR A SINGLE DROP OF BLOOD WAS SHED

P.S. 7:01 "OUR UNITS are running from the battlefield, a SHAMEFUR DISPLAY!"

  • uh huh

and NOBODY WAS KILLED OR A SINGLE DROP OF BLOOD WAS SHED

  • at 4:50 the isengard theme could fit PERFECTLY

  • China should have a huge army due to their population, in Mulan it make them like China has an army of only a couple of hundreds, while the huns are thousands.

  • @12345678909269

Did you forget about the beginning of the movie? The entire Imperial Army was defeated. The ones Mulan is with is supposed to be the remnant forces.

  • You are one lucky bug. Lol

  • @seemenomore06 I love that part. Very intense.

  • 5:51 I like the way that viewpoint looks. It's very intense and gets the adrenaline pumping, seeing a huge army on horseback charging towards you down a hill.

  • 6:59-7:05 is possibly one of the funniest moments in this movie.

  • Shang-yu disliked this video.

  • "Now I can pull them to safe...ty."

  • @wuhan5 agreed! I love the old ones I grew up watching!

  • "You missed! How could u miss he was 3 ft in front of you!" lmfao Eddie murphy's the best

  • 5:07= O_O

  • Lion King, Mulan, Pocahontas; Disney Masterpieces all within the same decade.

What the hell happened that turned Disney into what it is now?

  • Hmm. In movies it always seems that the viewers love both the heroes and the villains. The heroes prevail, yes, as they should. But you can't help but feel a bit of the temptation to join the seemingly more powerful side, eh? Or maybe I'm just a twisted psychopath... but I always liked Darth Vader, the epic charge of the Huns, the epic charge of the Wildebeest in Lion King (Recycled from Mulan, no doubt.), the marching of the evil hyenas during "Be Prepared." Maybe I'm just crazy, or tired.

  • @wkunzelman1 don't worry, Darth Vader become good again on the end, and anyway, some of us would like to be near those "evil" people so we can turn them away from "the Dark side"... :)

  • @wkunzelman1 Don't worry, you're not psychotic. There's always something that makes it enjoyable to cheer for the villains as well. Part of it has to do with how cool the darkside seems to be in certain ways. After all, you can't have a worthy hero, without a worthy villain.

  • OH CRAP. Those were bodies. Always thought it was just more burnt down village when i watched this as a kid on VHS.

  • i wonder if disney still puts violence in their movies, everybody's gone soft these days

  • "Oh sure, save the horse." XD

  • thumbs up if you liked all the Disney movies from 90s!

    plus wall-e ofc! :D

  • Chen Po get like 4 cannons at once everyone else get one at a time

i love how mulan use mushu as a cannon starter

"you miss? how could you miss 3 feet in front of you"

  • The fighting scene freaked me out when i was 8 years old and saw the movie for the first time

  • God damn Mongorians....

  • Why am I giggling like a little girl?

  • honestly how big do you think the army running down the hill is? like have a geuss how many soliders there are

  • Man, those are some badass cannons.

  • It may be just me, but to me the English version sounds so emotionless, especially when compared to the Finnish dub I'm used to. At least back then Finns knew how to voice act. I'm looking at youuuu, Digimon dubs! *long suffering sigh*

  • My favorite lines from this scene are such:

"YOU MISSED! HOW COULD YOU MISS HE WAS THREE FEET IN FRONT OF YOU!"

"We're gonna die! We're gonna die! Oh definatlly die! No way we survive this! Death is coming!"

  • theyre like oh shit when the huns come

  • @anjin16 Yes, and have you noticed this is the first time at all Mushu says "horse" instead of "cow"? :P

  • Everything about this scene, from the groundbreaking music to the breathtaking animation, takes me back to the days when Disney had class.

  • first movie I ever saw in theatres. it influenced the way I see myself as a woman (and possibly my taste in men xD). I still remember 4:50... Epic

  • @filipamd no doubt! I still remember seeing this back when it came out, and I used to remember dreaming what it would be like to be from his pov with the army and charging down on them. Most EPIC disney scene probably!

  • @persainblood Some were probably left behind to guard, others could've been lost during the journey.
