@TheRealPenster apparently not at any allman bros shows in the past 12 years. he works a lot (or at least has historically)... i know spam sucks but some things (like your favorite musicians' tour announcement or the local venue's show announcements) are actually worth making the space in the inbox for. i'm not as big of a fan of tedeschi trucks band as i was of DTB without susan (nothing against her, she's a great musician, just dig DTB more) but they're still good

I saw the Allman brothers a little while ago at the Beacon Theatre with Derek Trucks. It was an absolutely incredible concert, but when me and my dad are walking back to the car, with both our minds blown we're talking about the concert. We turn around and Derek Trucks was right behide us. It was incredible. We were the only ones on the street. Me, my dad and Derek Truck. I felt blessed after that day it was truly incredible. I just have to say that Derek Trucks is one of the best musicians.

Such a moving tune, maybe my favorite song of the decade. Cant believe this lineup might never be back. Susan is great, but Mike's voice just captures the perfection of the entire band, from Derek's playing to Yonrico/Count's drumming to Todd's kick-ass basslines to Kofi's divine keyboards.

Song of the decade? I'll see that and raise you. I now believe this is one of the best songs I've ever heard.

@KludgeMaker Some of the licks in this song should be legendary in a few years. Of course since the DTB is vastly underrated by most people Bieber and Kesha will be remembered, not a masterpiece like this.

Watching Derek Trucks manhandle that guitar like an Allman Brother made me delirious, nostalgic, and proud. Damn, he is awesome. Good singer, good song! And I love when he performs with his woman, Susan Tedeschi. They make magic happen!
