he didnt get the minutes in rotation because very simply the heat did not need those 3pt shooting; when a 7 footer other than shaq was on the court pat riley wanted him to rebound and take hard fouls. wang could never do that, thats why he couldnt play many minutes in mavs as well --- hes not a good rebounder, so nellie trusted the short, undersized but tenacious najera more; a run n gun team with rubbish defense needs possessions to win, and that starts from rebounding.

@Lorenshyne One thing I heard is that ZhiZhi is actually pronounced "Do Ju," sounds like Dodger. I'm Japanese-American, and our names are pretty much like how they're spelled. My Chinese-American friends admit that MUCH gets lost phonetically in translatons. "Xu" is actually "Shu," "Qin" is really "Chin," and so on.
