Knowing that these two, Roy and Tremblay, didn't get along at all...it didn't surprise me that this is how it ended in Montreal. I was disappointed the organization chose Tremblay over Roy for so long, then he was finally done with it all. This was bound to happen this way and it was dramatic as ever.

Bowman coached Wings 1993-2002 & Habs 1971-1979. Tremblay played 5 years for Bowman & bitterly resented harsh treatment from Scotty. Yet Mario incongruously adopted Scotty's domineering coaching style which was ineffective for a team lacking veteran allstars & that alienated Roy who was Habs only star. @mirlin235 I'm from Colorado and I gotta say... The Canadiens gave us Patrick Roy because they fucked up. The Bruins gave us Ray Bourque because they wanted him to win a cup. I'd rather be a fuckhead Boston fan who takes pride in his team through thick and thin, than a piece of shit Canadien's fan who mocks his own goalie when he's taking an unnecessary beating.

I would have NEVER done any of that crap to him, and actually alot of fans hated Trembly because of it, and I blame him too!
I have a book on him(Roy) and I think we lost the best thing, along with some decent players, we lost the team, and the team spirit
And those Boston fans do almost similar stuff too there players
