BTW i#m not a mac or pc fan i like both and when you get your mac i#d have a look onthe stability cause macs (unlike windows ) don#t have a task manager so when a Windows gets instable you have to be careful because then macs get an Error Screen and an annnoying Sound playing pover and over again and you have to shut down the system and wait and then if yout unlucky your mac is broken and won#t start up properly again so then you have to goto apple care or what ever it#s called and pay loads

You could see how much faster Safari opened myspace ; compared to Explorer, and the Windows minimizing ; has nothing on the amazing opening quality of it on mac, like i have both, and i use my mac for mostly everything, and only wndows for the msn, because its just a little bit more developed. But Mac is Way better, that's all i have to say. :\ i agree with him . The Mac look just makes you feal happy inside. ahah.
OSX looks fine I think. While Windows doesn't look all that bad, they overdo it to the point where you need some pretty good hardware just to run it. Most people that are just casual computer users won't have the hardware, (or the money), to upgrade to Vista. OSX isn't as glossy looking as Windows, but I don't really think it needs to be. That's just my opinion though.
The GUI in Leopard may be gray, but it still looks good. I don't know a single person that has a problem with the looks of Leopard. And like you said, you can change it. You can also change the icons of anything MUCH easier in Leopard. But although looks help, they aren't everything. I'd much rather have a more basic GUI and have a machine that performs better. But again, I have no problem whatsoever with Leopards GUI.
I have one now. And I agree with everything I said when I didn't have one. OSX does have more strong points. Now that Windows 7 is coming out, I have more faith in Windows. It's Vista's fix. But although Windows 7 is much better, I still prefer OSX. It's smoother and has better apps.

Your web browser is your own choice...and failure. You should really consider trying Windows 7 as an RC, it really puts it at par with OSX and I've used both operating systems. Get Firefox because both IE8 and Safari are shit browsers.

If you listened at all I said in the video that I didn't have a mac at he time to compare side by side. But what I was saying with the check boxes isn't just about the check boxes. They put more detail into the whole operating system. That was just a web browser. The whole mac OS looks so much nicer than and windows OS. Apple puts more time into what their OS looks like. Not many of them can. That's why I kinda gave up on them lol. A few of them have valid points, but for every 1 valid point a PC user has, a Mac user has 5 valid points as to why Windows sucks.
This video isn't very good because I didn't have a mac at the time. The only thing I could compare it to was safari, so thats what I did. But the whole OS runs smoother and has lots of cool effects. Thats the point, i don't want to click and drag. I read up on this and apple designed their windows to work like this because they felt they did not want people to block out their entire desktop to make it easier to drag/drop. Not an issue for me since I have 4 monitors. I am a power user/computer programmer and don't want to waste time using my mouse to drag things and resize things if I don't have to.
You only have to click and drag once. Every time you open up a window after that it will come out the size you want it to. You can't be that lazy, can you? It's not that hard. Just do it the first time you use the computer when you set up everything anyway. There are a ton of cool things you can do.
Like I hide my dock so it doesn't distract me when I'm running a ton of applications (which I do to write school reports). I also got to customize how my trackpad commands work. It took 30 seconds. I also customize how my screen adjusts to light. On a mac you can customize so many things, it's a wonder why PC fanboys don't like it because they always claim they can "customize more than a Mac."

I've had all HP's until recently. I've had 6 computers growing up. This last one was mine. I went with an HP because I never used a Mac. Vista was bugged out and full of viruses. I didn't do anything to deserve viruses. I didn't go to dangerous sites. Peripherals wouldn't work right: like my printer and my Zune. The system crashed all the time and I had to reboot it. And I know a lot of other college students facing the same thing, and they want Apple Computers.

at our school, we got mac's for the entire grade 6 year. the genie effect is kool and when you minimize it, it shows you what u minimized at the bottom with a mini picture, microsoft only shows words.
I have tried linux, but just to get cool efects and such you have to code them in, and I don't like that. Plus mac is more popular, and has more productive software for it.

Most of the problems you have aren't with windows, but with apps written on Windows, which are - for the most part - not created by Microsoft. I won't even bother to tell you that you can use such apps to make Windows even prettier than OS X, and have them take just as much RAM and CPU as the standard theme. And yes, even the checkboxes would be prettier.
If you're going to argument why one should switch, you'll have to do a better job.

Macs are just more reliable. There may be more programs for PC, but that will change. Like I said before, try leopard and you will change your mind.

I'm not an idiot, you just don't get my point. The default windows browser (IE) doesn't look anywhere near as good as safari. More time was put into safari. Speed has nothing to do with this video, and for the record, i do use Firefox 3. You've apparently never actually seen a Windows computer. Windows comes with tons of applications. A media player, a movie editor, an email program, and MANY more. I'm not saying Vista is better than Leopard, but saying that Windows doesn't come with useful applications is pure ignorance.

If you listened at all I said in the video that I didn't have a mac at he time to compare side by side. But what I was saying with the check boxes isn't just about the check boxes. They put more detail into the whole operating system. That was just a web browser. The whole mac OS looks so much nicer than and windows OS. Apple puts more time into what their OS looks like. From the animations o the general look of the OS. It's the little things that make the difference.

Yeah... I made this video before I had a mac to compare it next to. The whole OS has more features (that I'll actually use), and it runs smoother with less RAM, processor power, etc, and just overall looks better. Watch my more recent videos. You're an idiot. There are a ton of reasons to buy Mac. Leopard has NO viruses. Apple has better support. Macs cost more but last longer and retain their value. And Mac IS better. You're talking to someone who had an HP dv2500 with Vista. And that thing was fucked up because Vista sucks, peripherals wouldn't work--it crashed--terrible support from Microsoft. This video isn't very good because I didn't have a mac at the time. The only thing I could compare it to was safari, so thats what I did. But the whole OS runs smoother and has lots of cool effects. And Yes, mac users do know about the computer itself. I guarantee More windows users don't know about computers because they buy them from wal*mart. You can change the size at the bottom right. Just click and drag. My browser screen is full size. You can customize things really easily.

Thats the point, i don't want to click and drag. I read up on this and apple designed their windows to work like this because they felt they did not want people to block out their entire desktop to make it easier to drag/drop. Not an issue for me since I have 4 monitors. I am a power user/computer programmer and don't want to waste time using my mouse to drag things and resize things if I don't have to.
Having said that... quicksilver is cool

You only have to click and drag once. Every time you open up a window after that it will come out the size you want it to. You can't be that lazy, can you? It's not that hard. Just do it the first time you use the computer when you set up everything anyway. There are a ton of cool things you can do.

Like I hide my dock so it doesn't distract me when I'm running a ton of applications (which I do to write school reports). I also got to customize how my trackpad commands work. It took 30 seconds. I also customize how my screen adjusts to light. On a mac you can customize so many things, it's a wonder why PC fanboys don't like it because they always claim they can "customize more than a Mac."

Oh so I'm a PC fan boy now? I love how all the Mac "fan boys" cry "fan boy" anytime anyone shows a preference to PC. Yeah I have a doc in windows that does all the same things. Bottom line is with enough customizations you can get what you want out of either OS. Plus if I went Mac I would have to get used to a whole new IDE for work, and yes I am that lazy, I like my maximize button, I don't like that if I resize a window I can't easily maximize it without dragging. A nit pick, but its lame.

what if i resize it again? I twill take the new size then to maximize it I have to redrag it. It just annoys me, I'm sure there is some sort of plug-in or work around. I really don't care because, as I said, I have a really nice PC IDE that I use for work and it doesn't run on the MAC. Really this is boring me. Never had a virus, as I don't do things that would compromise me. I'm such a fan boy that I advised my mom to buy a powerbook when asked for new computer advice. Mac is nice for newbs.

I've had all HP's until recently. I've had 6 computers growing up. This last one was mine. I went with an HP because I never used a Mac. Vista was bugged out and full of viruses. I didn't do anything to deserve viruses. I didn't go to dangerous sites. Peripherals wouldn't work right: like my printer and my Zune. The system crashed all the time and I had to reboot it. And I know a lot of other college students facing the same thing, and they want Apple Computers.

at our school, we got mac's for the entire grade 6 year. the genie effect is kool and when you minimize it, it shows you what u minimized at the bottom with a mini picture, microsoft only shows words.

its not just the programs that look awesome, its the entire OS.Everything runs really smooth and there are cool animations for pretty much everything. And the only problems we mac users have are with windows. We switched for a reason. Try it.

Most of the problems you have aren't with windows, but with apps written on Windows, which are - for the most part - not created by Microsoft. I won't even bother to tell you that you can use such apps to make Windows even prettier than OS X, and have them take just as much RAM and CPU as the standard theme. And yes, even the checkboxes would be prettier.
If you're going to argument why one should switch, you'll have to do a better job.

Yeeeaaaahhh, "many" reasons. I watched your "biggest reasons why I hate vista", and sorry, but I don't think what microsoft does here. They license an operating system. When you buy a computer, they're not selling windows to you, they're selling it to the PC brand you bought. What that brand does to it later on, is not Microsoft's responsibility. Vista is bloated? Of course, unlike Mac, Windows has to run legacy software. Why? Because people ask for it, specially companies using Windows servers.

Actually, it is an excuse. In fact, rather than excuse, it's THE reason. Because windows runs on virtually anything, companies want it to be compatible with hardware and software from ages ago. But I don't expect you to understand that because you said in some other comment "Why do you think every major business uses mac?". My God, if only you knew the blasphemy you're claiming. I'm not trying to diss mac, but Windows is far more capable than what you're assuming.

I'm not saying windows isn't powerful, but you need to put a lot more money into a PC to get it to do more. Even out of the box, Macs do so much more. No worries about viruses, and things like that are what make apple great. idk about you, but here macs are everywhere. They are even my school's main computers. (my school has about 5,000 students). Macs are just more reliable. There may be more programs for PC, but that will change. Like I said before, try leopard and you will change your mind.

I KNOW. lol. You guys don't see my point. Im comparing the default browsers (IE and Safari) BASED ON THE LOOKS. I know the browser is just a program on the OS, but my they come on the OS. So my point is the default programs on a mac look better then on windows. Windows programs have a boring UI when OSX puts time in to the looks as well. OSX is a much more polished OS than windows. Vista added a lot of cool looks, but in return it uses a lot more RAM than it should. That doesn't happen on a Mac
