  • EROTINUS ZZZZOOOUUUUWWWWNNNN....

  • OCONCUBINE

  • I prefer woody words.

  • Up until 4:00, the best sketch ever written. Still pretty damn good after that.

  • GORN, SAUSAGE, BOUND, VOLE, CARIBOU, INTERCOURSE, BOTTY, EROGENOUS ZONE, CONCUBINE, LOOSE WOMEN

Most woody words have an 'o' in it while most tinny words have 'i's in them.

  • TIN

  • I love the channel changer

  • 'Wood' by itself is quite woody, with that nice W and long Os and though D. And 'tin' is quite tinny, with the awful T and the short I and N.

  • best part is the help in the background just standing their motionless

  • How about, "bone", "fruit", "slumber", "table", "trousers", "grass", "cardboard"?

I find these words warm and woody. Just saying them out loud has some calming power on me.

  • @Cl0taire Fruit? Hmm it is a bit tinny. A cross between both.

  • Caribou...gooooone

  • A vicious and canny portrayal of the British aristocracy. Oh and hilarious. Let's not forget that.

  • A vicious and canny portrayal of the British aristocracy.

  • Graham Chapman was the man - his facial expressions alone are priceless.

  • I've watched this sketch about 2000 times and I've only now realized the croquet hoops are a crop these people are growing. Apparently there are wood, tin or PVC cultivars.

  • Just what I needed, a terribly woody sort of sketch.

  • How do they keep straight faces?

  • Yes, you can't beat wood

  • "You can't beat wood."

    Au contraire my dear Graham.

  • sorry, old horse

  • it gives my confidence haha

  • 4:21 LIAR.

  • BOUNDDD

  • WATS UHP

  • Just watch the maid (2nd from left) when Mansfield fires his gun!

  • "Dislike!" What a tiny,tiny,tiny word!

  • CARIBOU....GORRNNNN

  • the weirdest thing about this scene is the souless wraiths stood behind the settee

  • Not just this sketch... the whole episode in which the sketch was featured was great.

    "Bloody repeats!"

  • Intercourse! Pert! Pert thighs! Botty, botty, botty! Oh-ho-ho-ho! Erogenous ZONE! Ah-hah-hah-hah! Oh, concubine! Erogenous ZONE! Loose woman! Erogenous ZONE! (Splash!)

  • LOOOOOSE WOOOMAN!

  • Find it funny that only the butler didn't move at all at the shot...

  • RIP Chapman. You and Cleese always were the funniest :)

  • "oh, sorry old horse!"

  • wasppp :)

  • ..what a blow for her... xD tiny sort of word

  • Cabbage crates coming over the Brimey!?!

  • CARIBOU GONE

  • @CaptianRico93 Episode 42.

  • MMMOOOOORRRGGUUUUUEE

  • And so who else came to the conclusion that Becky was his concubine and that his "9 "baths today" actually involved the two of them sneaking away for a quick pounding?

  • @arthurneddysmith pounding...POUNDING...quite woody

  • BISQWIT?

    Ooh Thenk yeeew!

  • The other day one of my friends asked about some others who'd left: "Where are they?"

I responded "GOOOOOOOOOOONE" and cracked up. Unfortunately there aren't a lot of fifteen-year-olds left who watch Monty Python, so I was the only one laughing.

  • @101Airbornealltheway Whenever something sexual is being spoken about in a group of your friends, randomly burst out with "Erogenous ZOOONNNEE" while laughing. Good luck trying to not laugh while saying Erogenous zone.

It should be a law that all kids must be indoctrinated-- I mean enlightened to the wonders of Monty Python.

  • @101Airbornealltheway well, you can count me in as one

  • @101Airbornealltheway That's me too! Except my guy friends all like Python... So I just 'GOORRRN' and 'EX-PARROT' with them :D

  • @101Airbornealltheway I'm 14 and I watch. You're not alone.

  • @101Airbornealltheway

If they didn't get it, you either need to educate them or find better friends.

    I know I have.

  • @101Airbornealltheway I'm one of them and I absolutely love this show.

  • @101Airbornealltheway I'm 15 and I'd have laughed! :)

  • @101Airbornealltheway

That's okay. Keep watching Python and you'll be the one who gets the last laugh :)

  • @101Airbornealltheway Pity I'm one of the few.

    Gooooooooorn

  • @101Airbornealltheway well i'm one of them

  • @101Airbornealltheway

    i know what you mean

  • @101Airbornealltheway Speak for yourself mate.

  • @101Airbornealltheway GGGGGOOOOOORNNNNN actuallllleeeehhhhh....

  • This is definitely in my top 3 of flying circus skits.

  • caribou, gone!

  • CARIBOU...GOORN. INTERCOURSE.

  • Antelooooope...

  • EROGENOUS ZZOONEE

  • I have met many old timey New Englanders, blue blood types, real yankees, not the baseball team, that were a near match, kept a box for the ivory keys that fell off the piano. My parent's were out one night when one chap actually pulled out his shot gun and blew apart a squirrel during a dinner party, closed the window and went back to eating.

  • What's the third word after "BOUND. VOLE."... Residemist? What does that mean??

  • @NotComingBack01 a recidivist is someone who lapses into previous patterns of undesirable behaviour (apparently), I didn't know either- I thought he was making it up as he was going along!

  • @NotComingBack01 The third word is "Recidivist". Meaning a person who continues to repeat an action of an undesirable nature, even if trained not to. It is akin to "repeat offender".

  • Is that an Enfield that he has?

  • Ocelooot....wassp....... Yowwwling.... Oh dear, Im bored. Better go and have a bath I suppose.

  • Clitoris... Dreadful tinny sort of word.

    Vulva.... Vuuulvaah.... nice and woody

  • rambunctious carryings-on

  • What you got to understand is "gorn" is the grammatical combination of the words "gore" and "porn". Violence and Sex. These two subjects are so popular in entertainment media it's possible to combine these to make "gorn".

In "Mannsfield's" case, he lusts for "gorn", having a gun at his side and enjoying shouting sexual idioms. This is the same lust you'd expect from a Texan hic with a bad repuation for animal slaughter and rape, all seen from a posh, upper class British Lord.

  • @50percentGrey you are talking twaddle

  • @roblowefan1

At least I'm looking at this in a more intellectual, yet more interesting way now, whether or not you care.

  • @50percentGrey

Hey ofcourse I care! But he just likes the word that's all, it gives him confidence!

  • Oh Sorry old horse

  • Erogenous ZOOOONE!

  • ive see this sketch many times...is there a point to this, or is it just for the sake of being silly? i dont get it =/

  • Monty Python is a comedy group that did skits for pure humor, and they were damn good at it. just take alook at all of the other monty python videos

  • @shadowreapar i know what monty python is...ive seen their whole series. this is just one sketch i dont understand

  • @hbkgirl75 hmmm are you sure you've watched the whole series? its pretty simply about funny words and phrases. "caribou nibbling the croquet hoops"

  • @jeroldthemouse yea i have...idk i guess i thought there was something more, haha but that would be silly of me

  • @hbkgirl75 hmm, don't think that that would be silly... there is no other point to it in the words, but in the situation- look at the scene: a traditional british upperclass family sitting in the living room with their servants standing behind them. while the servants are silent and waiting for orders, the owners are so bored with their meaningless life, that the only fun they have is to enjoy "woody words" or getting into it so much, that they're even crying when listening to "tinny words"....

  • "shot it in the antlers..." hahahahahahahahahaa

  • @Baseballschaap It looks to me like the girl in black is having a real hard time at it.

  • the girl in the middle said tin in the beginning. isn't she supposed to hate that word?

  • The Knights of Ni heard the word "it" once before they indirectly made it known that it was a taboo word.

Its the fluctuating power of tinniness, it is.
