To all of you who can't find the Library folder. I did find find it but I don't remember how since it was some time ago. I will find the way again and get back to everyone as soon as possible. Maybe I could even make a video.

i downloaded some campaigns on the mac for 14d everything was fine till i was in the game all the sound effects were just beeps and buzzes and the zombies are just giant red letters that say error is there any way i can fix this please help!

If your using Lion then Library folder won't appear like in snow leopard. But all you gotta do is search for the folder in finder and if you want, drag it to the side bar so you can find it later on more easily. btw there is another folder that was combined in Lion with the Library folder but I don't remember since I don't have my computer right now with me. I'll reply with more as soon as possible.

@cacmone I am using lion and like Skaterboy4798 I don't have the steam folder either. It's only the application that's available.

if your using a I mac or some other kind of mac then lion, when you go to the steam folder pick steamapps and you might see common on the first one (open common), when you get in (open left 4 dead 2) then find (left4dead2) without the spaces, then you will see addons (open addons) then place the map in there :)

When I installed everything just like shown, and I open l4d1 (or 2 depending on the map) so then I did Extra>Add-on It showed that no addon was installed

by the way i installed a map and not a campaign. So do i need to run it from a console?

@knowntokill505 No, just choose the game mode the map is made for and it should appear. It all depends on the map (what game mode it was made for). Again, if you still have questions, send me a message.
