  • the old WWF survivor series and the NWA war games was the greatest in wrestling.

  • Lol pretty funny how Hogan was the only on his team that didn't come out to Macho's music. Of course he needed his own entrance and his own spotlight. As big of a legend as he is, he also had the biggest ego in the history of wrestling

  • Also Ted Debiase does a great job plating a heel -- look at his entrance and swagger at 0:34 ... priceless!

  • The heel entrance with "Jive Soul Bro" -- way better than the face entrance with the lame macho man theme and separate real american for hogan.

  • Hill Billy Jim looked a bit silly at 3.09!!

  • Macho came out first cause he was he co-captain of the team, I think the co-captains come out first. But Hogan was a co-captain as well and came out dead last. Same at Wrestlemania 5 , Savage was the champ but came out first when the WWE champs come out last. Being over more decides it.

  • gorilla monsoon and jessie the body's banter is priceless!!!!!!

  • it stinks that the mega powers were only together for one year. Macho man just was jealous that hulk help Miss Elizabeth to the locker room .

  • What does it say on Koko's tights on the back because it is censored in the Survivor Series Anthology version?

  • @rocky01542 its W W F

  • Haku faces Hogan in 1990

    Dibase faces Hogan in 1989

  • Well he IS the African dream after all.

  • The Mega Powers was really Hulk Hogan's idea. The reason why Hulk Hogan had this idea was a why to try to get back in the spotlight since he wasn't the champion anymore, shows how much Hogan was a spotlight hogger

  • I agree. He couldnt let the spotlight go off of him even for a moment. I still remember hearing how pissed he was because after WM 3 everyone talked about the Savage/Steamboat matchup. He felt he was upstaged and during the rest of run in the WWF he kept the light heavyweights on a very short leash. (I guess thats why the blue blazer always got squashed)

  • @bluethundershark Hogan was tryna get paid. lol

  • @bluethundershark Seriously. What I couldnt stand about Hogan during this era is he always had to be part of the spotlight. Rumor has it he was afraid of Savage's draw after Savage's match with Steamboat from WM 3. More people talked about his match then Hogan.

If that wasnt bad enough Hogan got all his friends work and thats where you got matches where good wrestlers like Mr. Perfect puts over fair wrestlers like Brutus Beefcake.

  • @bluethundershark

No it was actually Vince's idea and Hogan liked it and Macho did.

  • That kind of stroking of Hogan when he wasn't even champion is kinda wack... but the pop he gets is undeniably the largest ever.

  • Macho should have came out last..

  • i used to always mimmick hulksters moves in the ring

  • strangely hercules would be managed by slick a few years later when he teamed up with paul roma...

  • Did you tape this live from the PPV?? Or, is this from Colisseum Video..

  • Pretty cool that low card jobbers Koko B Ware and Terry Taylor were in the main event! good for them!

  • Twin Towers Rulez!!!

  • ahh the good ol days...

  • you damn right the good old days. I wish these guys if they are either stiil alive or still in shape could make a wwe show from time to time
