They should have all planes fitted with the camera like that so we can see the outside view of the plane, it would be so good to watch and see the views, also spot any problems which could arise which pilots might not be aware of. Im yet to experience one of these beauts!

that was one issue on which happened, Qantas however has never come out of the Sky! and that issue was because the plane was not maintain in Australia after they moved some services over to the US, Singapore and India, they maintain the plans overseas to save lots of money, and i can say, Singapore Airlines has come out of the Sky lots, and yes, Qnatas was the first to buy the A380, now, remember, this is an Aussie video so piss off!!

When Qantas moved some of its services overseas, that's when Qantas an issue with the side of the plane, but they never came out of the Sky once! Singapore & Emirates have come out of the Sky more than once, and I'm not just saying that because that's what I think, that's what is stated on the information standard act of information!

@Airplanespot Actually i found that those arabs are very racist towards white people. I was searched 4 times in customs at Dubai and dirty looks are quite common from the locals. The place is a dessert storm half the time and extremely overpriced. Wouldn't recommend going to that shit hole. Cant stand the sand niggers now, from the experience i had anyway...

no he would not be able to i have a commercial pilots lic and i cant fly commercial aircraft or even jump seat due to the locked door rule on all commercial airline passenger flights it is illegal to have someone in the flight deck whose not a pilot for the airline while in the air on a commercial flight i work for a airline on the ramp and i cant jump seat only pilots who fly for the airline can

Yeh he did fly the 380 in Australia and the US, part of the deal with qantas was that they would train him to fly 747 and he is a qualified 747 pilot, (not sure if he a capt/1st officer or just 1st officer)

Have not seen anywhere about him being trained on a 74, he has a 1st officer rating on the 707. Would be highly dubious about qantas letting him fly the actual 380 as he is not type rated, and insurance/ law wouldnt allow it. Perhaps he got sim time

As part of the deal between Travolta and Qantas, he gained his first officers qualification on the 747 through simulator training and a number of test flights and Qantas paid and painted his 707 in the original Qantas paint scheme. In return he took the position as ambassador and undertook a world tour in his 707 as ambassador for Qantas.

It is very much legal to fly the A380 in the first officers seat with a qualified test/instructor rated pilot if the individual is rated in a similar sized aircraft and is rated as a test flight. And there was a news article in Australia showing him in the seat flying.

I saw the NEWS feature of him sitting behind the controls of the A380 while in flight and he was getting instructions from the Airbus pilot, to be honest I don't know how long he sat behind the controls for or if he did any flying as such but he was in the capt seat and hands on the controls but and commented after landing that it felt smooth to fly or something to that effect.

Of course he can't or has! He has only got type-certification on his B707-138 "N707JT". Travolta has made an education on Qantas B747 which they paid. Although he hasnt got any CPL, only PPL.
