I gained a lot of respect for Billy Graham after watching this. People need to stop dogmatically accepting misogynistic holy books from the bronze age. It really is getting us nowhere.
There is no other name given among men, where by we might be saved. Jesus said go ye into all the world an preach the gospel. If any name will do, why would he say to preach his gospel. Only belief in jesus, death, burial and ressurection saves. Amen

You might want to take a closer look at your Bible...you actually don't have to know the name of Jesus to know Jesus, he is our conscience. People who don't know his name because they have never heard it are not condemned for what they don't know, they are judged by whether or not they listened to Jesus' voice that is in every person (the law is written on our hearts). Read Romans 2:12-16 if you want to see the biblical proof for what you are saying is false.
The Bible (God) say's His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ is the ONLY way. Jesus was what one would consider a fanatic.. Sure, preach love and forgiveness,,, that's an awesome message,, but the whole point of the Gospel is that without Jesus,, none are saved. Much of old testament prophecy and the bible itself hinges on Jesus coming. Scripture... the Apostle Paul warns that should any man preach any gospel other than what is written, he will be cursed,,, and said the same for himself. Amen.

Cynics press Christian preachers to make absolute statements that they might construe as judgmental, but when the man of God backs off from making judgmental statements the evangelical/fundamentalist community judges him harshly. The heading is definitely twisting what is being said. He only said he would not judge those that did not believe, just as Jesus himself commanded "Judge not so that you won't be judged". Matt 7:1. Jesus represents the way, saving your soul is not just in calling the name Jesus but in following the way he taught (the way of love for God and others). He himself said, "Why do you call me Lord, Lord but then not do what I say?" Luke 6:46. It's possible to follow the way but not get the naming right
Posting things out of context only shows what the person posting is concentrating on. Better to preach the Gospel as best you can and remember that Matthew 7:1 says: Judge not, lest you be judged. The comments of this video are taken out of context. Billy Graham does not deny Jesus in the above video, he clarifies how he is called to share the Gospel of Salvation. He did not deny Jesus Christ but merely stated that he does not judge others and leaves that judgement in God's hands. Jesus Christ is the Lord God Almighty and the only way to salvation and eternal life with the father (John 3:15-18; 17:3). However, I he may have spoke in error on the second clip... Still not denial intent.
Well, what I see is, everybody born with a Christ body with layer and layer of sins, it is through this body one go to God, no matter what religion one belong. So the Bible is right but need to be understood. Jesus is a exemple for everybody follow, he came to show the Christ body. As long you are human you has this body, even though it is covered by sins. This body is the only way to take human in the heaven, it is up to them to clean the sins to get there.
Is this person who posted this saying that Billy Graham isn't really a Christian? They ask at the end "is it possible that you aren't really a Christian?" No, it is not possible because I have received Jesus Christ and asked Him to forgive my sins, as Billy Graham has. That is the only pre-requisite.

My point is, BG has NEVER claimed there was another way other than through Christ! PERIOD! I think what Graham is saying is essentially what many Calvinists believe, that God chooses those He will save, even those people who live in the jungle who's never heard the Gospel preached. He never once said that you can get to heaven without Jesus. He actually did say that some come to know Christ without even knowing his name. I don't see where you're getting that Graham is denying Christ. He may be denying the "free will" theology, but not Christ.

I love Billy Graham...he is one of the most honest preacher I've ever heard. I've watched a lot of his preaching and he is very clear that Jesus is the only way as contained in John 10:10. On this video, he is not denying Jesus. The person who posted this video needs to grow up and not quick to criticize a man of God.
I never heard Billy Graham deny that acceptance of Christ is the only way to salvation. To the contrary, what I hear is the affirmation of this as the way these people who now believe otherwise may be saved. Somebody out there knows the book, chapter and verse that proclaims that "there is therefore now no condemnation for those (Billy included) who believe in Jesus Christ". Poster might want to reconsider this post as it seems to fit the definition of "condemnation". Have you wrongly judgedhim?
The Gospel is essentially the " good news" that our God does love and forgive now through the acceptance of His Son,s Sacrifice of His Own perfect and sinfree life as the price paid in full and in advance for ALL sin. The is therefore now no condemnation.

He says that people who are called "from" these other religons "will" be forgiven and saved by Christ because He will make Himself known in their hearts. He very wisely does not write these people off because he knows God would thus judge him.

However, he knew this fully and allowed the crucifixion of Himself to be the price paid in full for our sins once and for all. One just has to believe this in order to benefit by receiving the salvation that is attained in no other way (as no one really can be good enough to deserve it).After all, we are only human. Doesn't the fact that there can be either salvation or death make God's love greater? We are given a choice – God allows us to choose whether we will seek Him. God loves us so much that He does not simply point us blindly towards salvation. He gave us the capacity for understanding so that we might decide. The gates of heaven are not left wide open to everyone.

This interview with Robert Shuller is taken out of context....God is calling a people out of paganism to Himself...not with their former beliefs, but to belief in Jesus Christ. Initially, they may not have known Christ but the Gospel's message and conviction of the Holy Spirit convinces them of an emptiness in their heart that can only be filled with an unadulterated relationship with God through His Son Jesus Christ. You might want to take a closer look at your Bible...you actually don't have to know the name of Jesus to know Jesus, he is our conscience. People who don't know his name because they have never heard it are not condemned for what they don't know, they are judged by whether or not they listened to Jesus' voice that is in every person (the law is written on our hearts). Read Romans 2:12-16 if you want to see the biblical proof for what you are saying is false.

The heading is definitely twisting what is being said. He only said he would not judge those that did not believe, just as Jesus himself commanded "Judge not so that you won't be judged". Matt 7:1. Jesus represents the way, saving your soul is not just in calling the name Jesus but in following the way he taught (the way of love for God and others). He himself said, "Why do you call me Lord, Lord but then not do what I say?" Luke 6:46. It's possible to follow the way but not get the naming right

The comments of this video are taken out of context. Billy Graham does not deny Jesus in the above video, he clarifies how he is called to share the Gospel of Salvation. He did not deny Jesus Christ but merely stated that he does not judge others and leaves that judgement in God's hands. Jesus Christ is the Lord God Almighty and the only way to salvation and eternal life with the father (John 3:15-18; 17:3). However, I he may have spoke in error on the second clip... Still not denial intent.

Well, what I see is, everybody born with a Christ body with layer and layer of sins, it is through this body one go to God, no matter what religion one belong. So the Bible is right but need to be understood. Jesus is a exemple for everybody follow, he came to show the Christ body. As long you are human you has this body, even though it is covered by sins. This body is the only way to take human in the heaven, it is up to them to clean the sins to get there.

I think what Graham is saying is essentially what many Calvinists believe, that God chooses those He will save, even those people who live in the jungle who's never heard the Gospel preached. He never once said that you can get to heaven without Jesus. He actually did say that some come to know Christ without even knowing his name. I don't see where you're getting that Graham is denying Christ. He may be denying the "free will" theology, but not Christ.

I never heard Billy Graham deny that acceptance of Christ is the only way to salvation. To the contrary, what I hear is the affirmation of this as the way these people who now believe otherwise may be saved. Somebody out there knows the book, chapter and verse that proclaims that "there is therefore now no condemnation for those (Billy included) who believe in Jesus Christ". Poster might want to reconsider this post as it seems to fit the definition of "condemnation". Have you wrongly judgedhim?

However, he knew this fully and allowed the crucifixion of Himself to be the price paid in full for our sins once and for all. One just has to believe this in order to benefit by receiving the salvation that is attained in no other way (as no one really can be good enough to deserve it).After all, we are only human. Doesn't the fact that there can be either salvation or death make God's love greater? We are given a choice – God allows us to choose whether we will seek Him. God loves us so much that He does not simply point us blindly towards salvation. He gave us the capacity for understanding so that we might decide. The gates of heaven are not left wide open to everyone.

Apparently your version of 'Gospel' doesn't match the Apostles'.
Read Isa 61:1-4 & Luke 4:16-21. Watch where Jesus stops quoting. You'll see there are TWO "comings": The first to save; the 2nd to judge.

@linearconcepts Those God calls to be judged are judged NOW, not when he returns. At acceptance salvation is given through Grace. As Peter stated, its not I that sinned but sin that dwells in me. WE are not perfect, but we are also NOT under the law anymore, how can we be... payments already been made. Notice the Bride of Christ comes to him... "Blameless" and not sinless. You guys are so hung up with sins you don't realize its a human condition that cannot be stopped this life.

This interview with Robert Shuller is taken out of context....God is calling a people out of paganism to Himself...not with their former beliefs, but to belief in Jesus Christ. Initially, they may not have known Christ but the Gospel's message and conviction of the Holy Spirit convinces them of an emptiness in their heart that can only be filled with an unadulterated relationship with God through His Son Jesus Christ. So they come out of paganism to a true relationship with God. As we all did.

Billy did not say that Jesus was not the only way. He explained, in this video clip, precisely how that Jesus "is" the only way. He explained to those who have eyes to see, what the "Faith of Jesus Christ" is. He explained that it is a "state of heart". He explained that can be found in many more people around the world than just those who say they are christians with their mouths. He that hath Love, hath God, for God is Love. There are many in the hedge-rows showing us the way. Math. 22 vs.8-10

I used to be a devout religious believer, but turned away from faith in LIES after my dear younger brother committed suicide 5yrs ago.
Getting our Priest to hold the funeral at all was hard enough- he kept preaching about self-killing being a mortal sin & that my bro would burn in hellfire for eternity. Half the family didn’t turn up as they were taught to believe the same crap, & some of those that did actually SPAT AT THE COFFIN, both in church & as it was lowered into the ground.

@SuperTruth77 hey man I'm sorry to hear about your brother, only God knows where your brother is, thats a very hard thing, I've had family members die lately, Jesus is the way the truth and the life and the only way to salvation, if you place your faith in Christ receiving repentance and applying the blood of Christ to your life you will be saved, suicide doesnt necessarily mean hell, denying Jesus means hell, but again it is a hard thing and I will pray for you and your family

I don't really hear him denying that Jesus Christ is the only way but rather he has broadened the way of salvation to all religions and that's where he is wrong. Judism don't recognize Jesus as their savior and Islam believes Jesus was just another great prophet like Muhammad.

@trevanismith I think I said as much. God's grace is extended to everyone but the problem with what Mr. Graham is telling everyone is Christ Jesus NOT the way but rather all religions are under the grace of God.

Christ being involved as He does all over the world.

Christians today believe that the trading currency of the church is dollars and cents when in fact it is SOULS for the Kingdom of God. And that my freinds is what Dr. Graham has been doing all his life without fail!! So before you make your judgmental statements, think about that and keep your words in your mouth cause all it does is hurt God's will for the unsaved.

Christians are supposed to win souls for the kingdom through our lifestyle and culture. I guess that's why I have denounced my standing as a christian, cause everyone tell me about my sin and judge me when in the same light they are acting as God when they judge me which is also a SIN!!! That's why lucifer was cast into the deeps. I prefer to carry the title a Son of God rather than a Christian.

So please if you want to help the spreading of the gospel stop bickering about GOD's appointed and anointed. @MrDementia1 It's a fair view. I see both sides here. But God DOES allow people to hate & despise His Bible teachings. You CANNOT be a Christian and not know it. Period! And God allows Moslems to slaughter & murder Christians (& Jews and others) & allows Satanists and atheists to spread their false beliefs; just as He also allows apostates to preach their brands of pseudo-Christianity. We see in the New Testament that God allowed Gnostics and Judaizers to vaunt their beliefs and teachings.

For is entire evangelical life he has done nothing but preach the gospel! Been a ray of hope and inspiration to many people. healing, giving hope and faith through Christ. Well over 60 years of Ministry, so think of the people he saved and touched. Before you judge others for their action or what they say trying walking 1 cm in his evangelical shoes! I dislike judgmental people.
