that may be true. that they just stole the name. However, to say that, would be to say that they aren't really Christian either. AND, they did choose to pretend that they were Jewish. That's my point - they only just decided to be Jewish, and are going back on it immediately. It's interesting that no one makes a comment about it; Mary or Mrs. Dubcek!

This show has many inconsistencies, I think. I still love it, however!

@pianokid1849 they are aliens, they have no concept of Earth religions and Holidays.They picked theirname from a truck when they landed, Mrs Dubcek being a Polish Jew realized that name was Jewish.Mary isn't Jewish though, Albright is an Irish name of some sort.I'm black, and I know all that.

it just struck me weird that no one, especially Albright said anything about them celebrating christmas - it could have been a funny joke at the end of something.

I also think a Hanuka (sp?) episode would have been pretty funny.

What's weird is they sometimes lose their identity, like roughly 1 minute in where Dick refers to them being "The Solomons, dammit" when they are really just a group of aliens pretending to be a family. I guess one can just write it off as them becoming humanized by playing a role all the time... but I digress. I really shouldn't read this much into it, it's just a comedy show... =P
