I'd recommend using a handle on a high speed polisher, having your fingers or knuckles hit that chuck at 2,000rpm's will leave a mark

I recently painted the hood on my car and it came out pretty ok. However, if you get close to the car, you can see the paint strokes on the hood. I wanted to know if buffing the hood would give it a more smooth and even appearance?

Man this guy could use a DA for sure. Plus those far away camera angles do not show clarity. Also what happened to the clay bar step? How do we know that the products he is using don't contain a ton of fillers that offer a nice level look but as soon as your wash or wipe the paint down you wipe away the fillers and wallah holograms? Just saying...Shiny isn't clarity or corrected.

I would a agree 100%... and he even uses the right terminology...

SWIRLS are the hologram effect or damage by using a rotary buffer.

And even more prevalent with an untrained operator or "hack"

The spiderwebbing or wash scratches are NOT swirl marks, they are simply wash scratches...

I love all these detailing vids. It takes me two seconds to see who's good. As soon as I see a clown with jeans with brass buttons, I exit. Always wear sweats so you don't scratch a car when you lean over it...just sayin..
