I didn't see any reply to your question hamdelsun. The Big Island Island is just that... The biggest of the Islands. It is the southernmost island. Hilo on the east and Kona on the west with a big volcano in between. Beautiful Island without all the tourists.

What a beautiful filmclip and makes me homesick as I was born in Byron but now live overseas. Unless NZ has that exact same byron/lennox head hinterland, dairy cows, lighthouse and perfect little peeling waves around a beach affectionately called the Pass you're out of luck kiwis.
