my dad wants to build an ele-solidbody-uke and my question now is: where can i get ukulele-magnet pickups?? u know just like the pickups in electric guitars with the magnet and the thread wrapped around it. if u know a site where i can get these pls so pls contact me :)

@fruhotchiliman Ukuleles use nylon strings, so magnetic pickups don't work. You'd use a piezo pickup, either under the saddle or the soundboard. There's passive and active versions of both. That should help you with your research.

One thing I like about these solid body electric ukes is that I can play them way into the wee hours of night (morning) and not wake my family and neighbourhood. Very useful.
