This is probably the weakest set I've ever seen and heard. The point of using different vinyl is to show your originality in creating your beat juggles. And that water bottle trick was wizack. Then the kid looks like he weighs about a buck o 5 soakin wet and trying to act hard. Any of you guys wanna see real dmc shit look up DJ Blu,Dj idee and his lady soverign juggle and DJ Keita probably did the baddest set I've ever heard!
yeah he has good cutz, that water trick was bullshit and whats up with all this fuck yous nowadays, shit dont make you hard, kind of makes me think of what rap has become which it too is bullshit. Undergorund hiphop is where it will alwasy be at.
@fonchogomez I find it ironic that you're complaining about all the "fuck yous", while you fill your own "sentences" with essentially the same thing. Remember "shit dont make you hard".
I really don't like this kind of music, but it sounds really good as he plays. Freakin' good. And his trick is a bit funny and at the same time it's awesome.
when he was doing the water bottle trick it looked like the judges in the background were making fun of him. which is understandable, because, come on!! that's so fucking stupid AND it's not like it took any talent.
Custom records its hardly mixin is it? maybe juggling but hardly impressive if u make the records urself to make it easier and that h20 trick just another gimic which was crap
his exact opposite is DJ Shiftee - he never used any of the custom made records, and still nailed everybody in the battle two years ago. there ain't many who is good enough to diss this guy, but it just shows how much the theme and methods of turntablism have changed over the years, especially after the advent of custom records and serato.
all people hating about custom made records seem to be jealous about skills someone owns. I really like this routine and i think that making and producing your own records is just a new part of turntablism and its future.
no custom record suck i mean it just doesnt appeal to me. i mean really someone coming in with custom records is really just a cheap and big advantage.
its really cheap because he doesn't have to switch records so he has the upper advantage with saving time case you lose at least 30 seconds and the music hes using doesnt always match allowing easier beat juggling and scratching whicj gives him a super advantages over the rest. you want a real dj go for some one like dj craze, roc raida, or dj mista sinista.
yea fuck custom records. aint nobody jelous about the skills, they know what theyr doing. just takes much more skill to come up with a set using regular vinyl.
Well actually the problem is he used custom records and he sucked anyway, if you use custom records you're actually expecting people to do something crazy because of the advantage it gives the performer but having a mediocre performance and NOT switching records is a big FAIL.
Makes me want to make a battle record for competition... The large black mark on the record, is that on the opposite side of clear vinyl or inside the record?? The water bottle trick was neat but it might sound better in person.
