It is certainly much more practical than a two state solution, unless of course by two state solution you mean a form of apartheid which makes south africa look like disney land. During the "peace process" settlements were not tore down, but expanded at a very fast pace, and of course gilad shalite was only kidnapped by hamas after he, along with the idf, invaded the gaza prison during a massacre that killed over 1400 people, many of them children.
