  • @scienceatheism you are beyond ignorant, im guessing your not a black person..or perhaps you havnt looked around and viewed the african diaspora; in this case it seems that you havnt noticed that we come in ALL different shades of Brown and Black...ise lyfe is a black man with a black spirit..open your eyes and ears and say shit that makes sense instead of talking bullshit. im just saying.

  • He came to UC Riverside a few years ago to speak about depictions of women in hip hop songs and videos. I think that might've been one of the best workshops I ever went to while I was studying at the university. There needs to be more artists and teachers out there like him!

  • He should be famous.

  • He was my teacher in high school. At the School of Social Justice and Community Development. Ise used to teach an elective called "Poetry in Motion" he used to inspire me everyday.... Paz y amor!

  • I hear my students talk about who kicked whose ass last weekend! I hear the talk about guns & bullets and the funerals they attended or watched from the distance. I hear them talk about abuse from cops & white folks as the enemy. I asked them last week who has hurt you more often, the deepest and the most? Somebody in your own family & neighborhood or white folks? If we keep brutalizing and killing each other, we are doing the work of the police dept. That's what self hate looks like.
