Gears of War 2 plays just like Gears 1 except w/ better graphics and some slightly new stuff

its a great game but gets repetitive

after playing the campaign its easy to put down

I played the demo. Controls are easy, very well made for the console. I can honestly say I didn't yell once for stupid crap that shouldn't come from an RTS. The menu's a mix between Halo 2 and 3. They wanted it to look as much like Halo as possible. Unit design and gameplay are solid. The achievements are boring however (But when are they not for an RTS?). This game is at least a 4/5. If they had Forge and Theater mode, then it would be an easy 5. All in all I think it'll be worth the $60

It'll be good. It just wont be good on the 360, imo. Not for the machine's capabilities, but for the control system. I know they're two completely different games, but CnC3 on the 360 put me off console RTSes forever. I'm seriously going to buy the mouse and keyboard designed for the 360 when this comes out.

CnC3 has a rubbish control because EA use a onesize fits all approch and just slap something together. Halo war has be build for the 360 from the start so the controls should be ok

The Red Alert 3 controls are the best I have ever tried for RTS on console. They are ground breaking and way better and more efficient than one C&C Tiberium Wars 3.
